Only 200 km away from Lake Garda, a region that is a real insider tip awaits us here. It is the home of Ferrari and Ducati and it is also the home of Parmesan and Balsamico. Nowhere else are tradition and enjoyment so close together as here. Little traffic, endless bends and first-class roads in the hinterland offer everything a motorcyclist could wish for.
Curve Paradise Apennines
The Apennine is a 1500 km long mountain range that stretches as far as the Adriatic coast. The Mediterranean climate in connection with fantastic motorcycle routes in an unusual landscape makes this tour a special experience and guarantees pure driving fun. Here were written dramatic chapters of racing history, stories of fame, sweat and tragedy, especially known by the disaster of the Mille Miglia. The Passo della Futa is just one of the countless passes that are still magnetic attractions for motorcyclists.
Country of engines
Emilia Romagna is the birthplace of Italian cars, a unique motorcycle culture and is not called "Motor Valley" for nothing. Important names like Ferrari, Maserati, Lamborghini or Ducati offer a real treasure trove for lovers of motor sports. Countless museums and collections of the extra class score here with unique exhibits and the legendary race track of Imola is also an important part of this wonderful tour.
Land of taste
The inhabitants of Emilia Romagna are carefree, cheerful and a little playful. With their admirable style, they have created a kitchen that will put anyone in a good mood who takes a little time for them. It is home to the excellent Parmesan cheese, Prosciutto di Parma, Mortadella and the unique balsamic vinegar. During our break in a family-run balsamic vinegar farm we get an insight into the traditional production and the subsequent tasting will amaze us all because balsamic vinegar is so different and each variety is so unique. It's like a good wine, the longer it matures, the better its taste!
The culinary landmark of this region are filled noodles in every imaginable variation. Whether tortelloni, tagliatelle or gnocchi, filled with ricotta or fresh herbs, they are always homemade and a true delicacy for every noodle lover.
