We ride fantastic motorcycle routes on predominantly asphalted roads. It can happen at any time that the road conditions change due to heavy rainfall or thunderstorms and where there was an asphalted road yesterday, the asphalt may have disappeared during our tour.
Such unpredictable changes may result in sections on unpaved roads. A good physical condition is necessary for this tour as the route is very demanding. The motorcycle should be in good technical condition and the tires should still have sufficient tread patterns.
The meeting point for our tour is near Malaga, where we spend the first evening. The evening together gives us the opportunity to get to know the other participants and our tour guide will make you curious about the upcoming tours.
We quickly ride to the port of Tarifa, where we cross the Strait of Gibraltar by ferry to cross the border to North Africa in Tangier. We ride along varied mountain and coastal roads with numerous bends and magnificent views to Chefchouen. At the arrival point we will stay in a comfortable hotel and have enough time to visit the old town to end the day with a delicious Moroccan dinner.
After breakfast we ride along mountain roads to Meknes. Once here we will visit the historic Old Town, which has been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, and the Souk, an Arab market that is one of the most beautiful and original in the country.
Today's stage leads us through traditional villages and over winding side roads into the High Atlas. At the end of the day a typical Berber hotel awaits us in a 2200 m high village.
Today we cross the impressive Dades Gorge with its fascinating rock formations and colour contrasts. The red rocks, green palm oases and the partly snow-covered peaks of the High Atlas offer a true feast for the senses. Mountain passes of overwhelming beauty and a curve waltz on well asphalted roads await us. A part of the road is not yet asphalted, so it is possible that we will ride about 40 km on a gravel road, which is easy to manage.
The tour takes us along oases and lonely desert landscapes, it will be a fascinating day with constantly changing views. We experience exciting routes on asphalted roads before arriving at our hotel. Overnight in a comfortable desert hotel at the foot of the imposing dunes of Erg Chebbi. Those who like to ride a camel through the dunes will find plenty of time. The incredible sunsets and the starry night sky in the desert are guaranteed to last forever.
Today's tour leads us parallel along the dunes of the Sahara and further through palm groves, canyons and beautiful mountain villages to the High Atlas. Mountain roads lined with centuries-old cedars and cork oak forests will accompany us.
We continue on countless winding roads from the High Atlas to the Middle Atlas until we reach the motorway, on which we quickly ride to Rabat, our destination for today. The royal city is the capital of Morocco and at the same time the seat of government and residence of the king. There will be enough time to visit the large souk, the historical monuments and other interesting places in the royal city together.
One last day in Morocco and so slowly our journey through a country with a thousand faces comes to an end. From Tangier the ferry brings us to Tarifa, from here it goes on to our exit hotel near Malaga, where we spend the last evening.
8 exciting riding days lie behind us and thus 2100 riding kilometers with infinitely many experiences and impressions. Now it's time to say goodbye. No goodbye forever because the next adventure is already waiting for us!
