Mountains, views and landscapes
Just a few kilometres beyond the German border, the Vosges mountains appear, imposing and majestic, as if to tell us that a little paradise is waiting for us here and that we must earn the right to experience this region. With a thoroughly alpine character on countless passes and winding side roads, they are the perfect choice for pure driving pleasure. The Grand Ballon with its 1424 m height is the highest peak in the Vosges mountains and the winding ascent with alpine character offers us pure driving pleasure. The French call him Ballon d'Alsace, we call him Alsatian Belchen, no matter what name we choose, conquering his peak, standing "here" and enjoying fantastic views as far as the Swiss Alps and Mont Blanc is an indescribable feeling.
On old trails
The Route des Crêtes is one of the most impressive mountain roads in France and here we are almost continuously at 1200 m altitude. On the Alsatian Wine Route, we experience a region where life seems like a work of art, idyllic, chic, romantic and full of pride. It is a synthesis of the art of living and the culinary wealth of Alsatian cuisine. The Valley of Munster, with its vineyards and hilltops, connects the Alsatian plain with the heart of the Vosges. Here sensual hills and green clearings unite with pristine glacial lakes and peaty plateaus.
Culture and pleasure
The path is the goal of our tours, but we would still like to share our history and culture with you. We will touch one of the most popular destinations in Alsace, the Hochkönigsburg. Once dedicated to Kaiser Wilhelm, it is now one of the most beautiful castle complexes in Europe and from up here we can overlook the Rhine plain to the Black Forest on one side and enjoy the views over the vineyards and villages of the Vosges on the other.
