One of the tour highlights: The highest asphalted alpine road, the summit road around the Cime de Bonette. At 2,802 metres above sea level, it offers fantastic views of the majestic mountain massifs of the surrounding area and far into the valleys of rock and stone. Sights like this one are characteristic for our tour through the Alps.

Starting from Pfunds in Tyrol, we will travel up and down well over 20 magnificent Alpine passes in 15 days, through bends, hairpin bends and serpentines towards the southern French coast and back again. From Lake Geneva, the route takes you over passes with resounding names such as Col de l'Iseran (2,770 m), Col du Galibier (2,645 m) or Col d'Izoard (2,360 m) over the famous Route des Grandes Alpes. This unique road overcomes a total height difference of 15,700 metres over a length of about 700 km. Also the famous winter sports place Val-d'Isère, where we spend a night, is on our way that leads us up to the Côte d'Azur. Before we then start from Menton in northern direction, we of course visit Monaco and Nizza. The highlights on the way back are no less spectacular: the Grand Canyon du Verdon is one of the largest gorges in Europe, Alpe d'Huez is one of the most famous destinations of the Tour de France, the Stelvio Pass is the highest pass in the Eastern Alps. One highlight chases the next. On the tour through the Alps.
