Montenegro Motorcycle Tour: Mountains & Adriatic

This motorcycle tour from Graz sets off from the agreed starting point and heads south. The majority of the 540 km route uses the motorway before the first Balkan specialties await over a relaxed dinner in the Bosnian hinterland. Overnight stay in Zenica.

The motorcycle tour continues south to the Montenegrin border. Riding through Durmitor National Park to 1,900 m above sea level is the highlight of the day on this national park stage. Overnight stay in Zabljak, Montenegro's highest-altitude town.

The return to the Adriatic passes Lake Scutari, the largest lake on the Balkan Peninsula, and sections of the famous Jadranska Magistrala coastal road. The next two nights are spent at the same hotel in the seaside resort of Becici.

A more relaxed day: the Kotor excursion rides into Lovcen National Park and the historic old town of Kotor, with plenty of time in the afternoon for beach life in Becici. Second night in Becici.

Winding roads bring the group back to Bosnia and Herzegovina. Before dinner, the tour stops at the UNESCO World Heritage Stari Most bridge in Mostar. Overnight stay in Mostar.

Kozarska Dubica in northwest Bosnia is the final overnight stop on this Balkan group motorcycle tour. In the evening the group toasts the end of the tour over a good meal, with the experiences of the last days fresh in everyone's minds.
