Experience Romania's Transfagarasan Pass

This guided Romania motorcycle tour begins as an exciting ride through the Carpathians, starting from Vienna via Timisoara and continuing on through Transylvania. A support vehicle carries your luggage the whole way, so you can focus entirely on this Romania round trip by motorcycle rather than daily packing. Via the scenic Danube Gorge at the Iron Gate, the route heads toward the Carpathians, where Bran Castle and the high Transalpina road await you. Every evening, a top hotel with guarded parking is waiting for you, and a German-speaking guide accompanies the group throughout.

Highlights

Transfagarasan Pass

The Transfagarasan Pass motorcycle stage ranks among the most spectacular sections of the Carpathians. At around 2,000 meters, tight switchbacks alternate with sweeping views, and bears along the roadside are not uncommon.

Transalpina High Road

On the Transalpina motorcycle route you reach the Urdele Pass at 2,145 meters, the highest pass road in Romania. In the evening, a farmhouse with folklore, wine and tuica awaits you in Sibiel.

Danube Delta Boat Trip

At sunrise, the Danube Delta boat trip takes you into one of Europe's most species-rich nature reserves. Herons, pelicans and sea eagles pass by while breakfast is served right on board.

Visit Bran Castle

This Dracula Castle motorcycle stop takes you to Romania's most famous castle at the foot of the Carpathians. You can browse the merchant village before continuing to the former royal seat of Sinaia.

Discover Bucharest

On this Bucharest sightseeing stop, your own coach and a German-speaking guide take you to the Parliament Palace, one of the world's largest buildings. At lunchtime, the legendary beer hall Carul cu Bere awaits you.
