Guided South Africa Wild Coast Route

This South Africa motorcycle tour gives you eleven guided riding days packed with variety: you start in Nelspruit near Kruger National Park and ride across the border into eSwatini, before the route swings toward the coast. On a rental motorcycle – the standard being a BMW GS 750 – you experience the guided South Africa motorcycle tour in a double or single room, with support vehicle and daily briefing included. After Lesotho and the Wild Coast, the Garden Route motorcycle tour carries you all the way to the southern tip of Africa.

Highlights

Kruger Park Start

The Kruger National Park motorcycle tour begins in Nelspruit, where you collect your motorcycle and ease into left-hand traffic. On the first riding day, the vast savannah opens up and lions may be heard calling in the night.

Kingdom of eSwatini

Short gravel sections take the eSwatini motorcycle tour from Nelspruit into the Kingdom of eSwatini. Piggs Peak and the Maguga Dam reveal authentic local life away from the tourist trail on this compact border crossing.

Sani Pass to Lesotho

The Sani Pass motorcycle tour ranks among the steepest mountain roads in the world, taking you to 2,873 meters into Lesotho by motorcycle or 4x4. At the top, the highest pub in Africa rewards the effort with mountain views.

Wild Coast Jewel

The Wild Coast motorcycle tour returns you from Lesotho to South Africa at the Indian Ocean. In Port St. Johns you fall asleep to the waves before riding in Nelson Mandela's footsteps through the Transkei toward Buffalo City.

Garden Route Highlights

The Garden Route motorcycle tour carries you from Port Elizabeth through Tsitsikamma to Mossel Bay and on to Cape Agulhas. Chapmans Peak Drive and the view of Cape Town form the fitting close of this riding adventure.
