When the Moors left back to Africa, they had build splendid palaces, gardens and mosques, founded universities and established important markets. All to be explored on bike during this motorcycle tour in Andalusia.

This tour leads you initially from Malaga along the coast to the fashionable village of Marbella from where you climb the mountain roads of the Sierra de Ronda. Soon you may find out, that the streets of Andalusia are among the most spectacular and impressive you have known. The beauty of the white villages of Andalusia take your breath away, before you reach the elegant and welcoming capital of Seville. Here you rest for one day and stroll through narrow streets, small squares for a breather in the bars of the old town, to enjoy delicious tapas or a glass of wine to drink.

You continue on the roads of the reservoirs of the Guadalquivier river towards the next Moorish Pearl of this tour in Córdoba, that awaits us with its unique atmosphere. You visit Granada and its Alhambra and enjoy sheer riding pleasure in the mountain roads of the Sierra Nevada, before you return along the Mediterranean back to Malaga.

The tour offers complete motorcycling pleasure on small, winding mountain roads with stunningly beautiful scenery. The roads throughout the entire route are asphalted. The comfort of a first class 4* hotel awaits you after a day's riding.

Day 1: Arrival in Málaga

Arrival at Malaga airport and transfer to the hotel. Introductions over dinner with Spanish wine while giving us an opportunity to discuss our tour.

Day 2: Malaga - Marbella - Ronda

Along the coastal road of the Costa del Sol we ride towards Marbella. From here we climb into the Sierra de Ronda, where amazing views over the Mediterranean surprise us before we reach the city of Ronda itself in the evening. One of Spain's oldest Bullrings opened here in 1785, the city itself is located on the 100 m deep El Tajo Gorge and is achieved via the impressive bridge Puente Nuevo.

Day 3: Ronda - Arcos de la Frontera - Sevilla

Ronda is surrounded by a number of smaller mountain ranges such as the Sierra de Grazalema with its famous Puerto Paloma. They provide us with magnificent landscapes and streets, and are the perfect playground for our bikes. Curves, grippy asphalt and beautiful views of the white villages of Andalusia bring us to Arcos de la Frontera and later to Seville, the today's stage.

Day 4: Rest day in Seville

The capital of Andalusia is also the most fascinating city in this region. It's hard to escape her unique charm: Seville is elegant, historic and proud, but also welcoming hospitable, comfortable and alive. The huge Cathedral with its famous Bell Tower, the Giralda, is just one of many sites that we discover today.

Day 5: Sevilla - Sierra Morena - Cordoba

Our route takes us further into the rugged mountains and canyons of the Sierra Morena. The beautiful street in this nature park in the North of Andalusia is quite unique and leads us towards Cordoba, once the capital of the Moorish Empire during the political and cultural heyday.

Day 6: Cordoba - Granada

Although today's program is dominated by a visit to the Alhambra, one of the most important of Spain's cultural heritage sites, we still make sure we get our fair share of biking pleasure. Our route takes us over beautiful mountain passes, through olive groves, past poppy fields and lakes before approaching the high plateau of Granada.

Day 7: Granada - Malaga

We leave Granada in order to fully enjoy the magnificent region of the Sierra Nevada. Away from the traffic with the Mediterranean Sea in sight we start our descent along the steep winding roads to our starting point in Malaga.

Day 8: Return journey

Note: We reserve the right to make minor changes to the tour.
