Breakfast, if offered by the hotels (We would like to point out that breakfast is not a matter of course in American or Canadian hotels. There are many different types of breakfast. Some hotels offer coffee and a kind of bread roll, toast or a piece of cake, perhaps with some jam. If one is lucky, there is some fruit or milk products. Other hotels only offer coffee with a coffee machine in the room and nothing else. Some hotels again offer a varied breakfast. Many hotels decide in the middle of the season to create this service, to abolish it or to change it. There is generally everywhere a possibility to buy breakfast for little money. We write the services as: Partial breakfast, as we cannot guarantee which hotel will suddenly decide for or against it :-)

We haven't had to do that yet, but: if the minimum number of participants is not reached, we reserve the right to cancel the trip up to four weeks before the start of the trip.
Alternatively, in case the minimum number of participants is not reached: in order to avoid a tour cancellation, if it is calculable for us, the tour can possibly be carried out with only one tour guide in the accompanying vehicle.
Smaller groups on request are also possible. Ask us, but not only about this topic. Ask us before booking, before the start of the trip and during the tours. if you want to know something. So far no question has remained unanswered. By asking us your questions we can also adapt to your individual needs.
An extension of several days in Denver is possible for an additional charge.

An honest word among bikers
With the following lines we would like to prepare you for the adventure of your life. You are either about to book one of the most beautiful types of travel, or you have already done so. The biggest difference between our holiday type and a general package tour is that you are actively involved. Riding a motorcycle is one of the most beautiful things in life. At least for us bikers. The main focus of the trip is motorcycling through unique landscapes. We have designed the programs in such a way that both driving fun and experience are available in sufficient quantity.
Team spirit and adaptation in the group are absolutely necessary, just as you need to bring a certain basic fitness and experience, so that we can reach the goal together, happy and healthy. If you have doubts about your health, fitness or experience, please contact us beforehand. We would like to achieve the optimal holiday experience for you as well.
The daily stages are on average 250 - 400 kilometres long. That sounds a lot, but cannot be compared with the same route in Europe, considering that often 80 kilometres without passing through a town and a whole day without traffic lights are on the programme. There are also traffic jams as good as never. We are rarely in the saddle for more than five hours during the whole day. We reach our daily destination between 16 - 18 o'clock, depending on the season. Depending on the weather or temperatures, we may have to get out a little earlier or reach our daily destination later. However, if we want to experience a picture book sunset with full intention, it will be a little later.

Language: This offer is usually suitable for English and/or German speaking participants. We will gladly provide binding information upon request.
Mobility: The offer is not suitable for people with reduced mobility. Please contact us for more information.

The journey takes us past many historical places that have become famous thanks to Hollywood.

Experience with us on the saddle of a Harley Davidson® for example the most beautiful stops on Route 66 and the fascinating Canyon de Chelly. Further along the way we visit the landmark of the West, Monument Valley and Mesa Verde National Park. As the motorbike tracks par excellence we ride the Million Dollar Highway and the Independence Pass. The Colorado National Monument and much more round off this dream tour.

The impressive nature and the dream routes in the mountains will "beat you to death".

Due to the nature of the route this tour is only suitable for good motorcyclists and pillion riders.

Tour itinerary:

Day 1: Arrival in Las Vegas

You fly with a renowned scheduled airline from Frankfurt to Las Vegas. Your tour guides will wait for you at the airport and drive you to your centrally located hotel. There you will be informed about the next day's schedule over a welcome drink.

2nd day: Las Vegas - Motorcycle takeover

The morning is at your free disposal. TIP: Visit the strip with the theme hotels or go shopping. We will be happy to help you in word and deed in this regard. In the early afternoon, after a briefing, we will pick up the bikes at the EagleRider Station in Las Vegas. For acclimatization we will ride along the famous Las Vegas Boulevard. Overnight stay in Las Vegas. Tour length about 30 kilometers.

Day 3: Las Vegas - Hoover Dam - Laughlin

The experience begins. First we visit the famous Hoover Dam and the Eldorado Gold Mine, which is known from several movies. Then we cruise south towards our day's destination Laughlin, on the border to Arizona. Tour length approx. 250 kilometres.

4th day: Laughlin - Historic Route 66 - Flagstaff

The day is dedicated to the old Route 66, which we ride to Flagstaff. On the way there we ride through Oatman, Kingman, Seligman and Williams. Overnight stay in Flagstaff. Tour length approx. 375 kilometres.

Day 5: Flagstaff - Route 66 - Gallup

Today is our last day on Route 66, passing the town of Winslow, already sung about by the Eagles as "take it easy", before we visit the old "Jackrabbit Trading Post". Afterwards the Petrified Forest National Park and Holbrook are on the program. Overnight stay in the old railway and Indian city of Gallup. Tour length: approx. 335 Km

Day 6: Gallup - Canyon de Chelly

The coming days are filled with stories about Indians. We leave Route 66 and head for Chinle. This place is located in the middle of the Navajo Nation Reservation and borders directly on the Canyon de Chelly National Monument. The name means "rock canyon" in the Navajo language. In the three main canyons there are numerous testimonies of human settlements, which point to the first settlement about 4500 years ago. The Spider Rock (two about 240 meters high rock spires) is the landmark of the Canyon de Chelly. In this fascinating canyon we undertake a guided tour (optional) with a Navajo guide. Overnight stay in Chinle. Tour length: about 200 km

Day 7: Canyon de Chelly - Monument Valley - Bluff

One highlight chases the next. We leave Chinle in the morning and head north to Kayenta. Our next dream destination is the world famous Monument Valley. Also here we have the possibility to do a jeep tour into the valley (optional). Here the famous director John Ford shot countless western movies with John Wayne. But also younger film productions have been shot here, like "Back to the Future" or 2013 "Lone Ranger" with Johnny Depp. We stay overnight in the San Juan/Bluff area. Tour length: approx. 225 Km

Day 8: Bluff - Four Corners Point - Cortez

The attraction this morning is Four Corners Point - the only point in the USA where four borders come together - with legs and arms kneeling simultaneously in Arizona, Utah, Colorado and New Mexico. Our next destination is Cortez, the gateway to Mesa Verde National Park. Overnight stay in Cortez. Tour length: about 150 Km

Day 9: Cortez - Mesa Verde National Park - Durango

In the morning we will visit this world heritage site, the Mesa Verde N.P. The name is Spanish and means green table mountain/green table. The Mesa Verde N.P. is the most important archaeological site in the USA. In the national park, about 4.000 archaeological sites have been found. Mesa Verde was declared a National Park in 1906 to protect the archaeological heritage of the original population of the USA. Our way continues to Durango, the city with a great railway history. Overnight stay in Durango. Tour length: about 135 Km

Day 10: Durango - Million Dollar Highway - Ridgway

Every day the way is the goal, but today it is very special. The route is called US Hwy 550 or "Million Dollar Highway" because it is said to have cost one million dollars per mile. The road takes us up and down through breathtaking areas, over three passes and about 3400 meters of altitude? The fascinating thing about the seemingly endless curves is that there are hardly any road limits. We will have a break in Silverton, at an altitude of almost 3000 metres, and another one in Ouray, before we reach our destination for today, Ridgway. Ridgway has become famous through Hollywood, for example as the location for "True Grit" with John Wayne or later with Jeff Bridges. Ridgway also served as a film set for "That was the Wild West" (How The West Was Won). Overnight stay in the Ridgeway area. Tour length: about 135 km

Day 11: Ridgway - Black Canyon of the Gunnison - Grand Junction

Strengthened by breakfast in Ridgeway (here we have a secret tip) we ride on more dream roads of the region. Our next attraction is the Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park with its impressively deep canyon, which was created by the Gunnison River. The day's destination is Grand Junction, a nice town which is also known for its excellent wines. Overnight stay in Grand Junction. Tour length: approx. 285-380 km

Day 12: Grand Junction - Glenwood Springs

Today we leave Grand Junction and head for Glenwood Springs. In the morning we visit another National Park, the Colorado National Monument. Even the following ride on the I-70 is a beautiful motorcycle track. Our destination for the day, Glennwood Springs is still a spa town with hot springs. The most famous guest here was Doc Holiday, one of the legendary gunslingers of the Wild West. Overnight stay in Glennwood Springs. Tour length: approx. 150-300 Km

Day 13: Glenwood Springs - Aspen - Independence Pass - Colorado Springs

In winter, the area is teeming with skiers and in summer, motorcyclists come to the "Top of the Rockies" Highway. We ride through Aspen and slowly but surely reach an altitude of 3686 m and thus the highest point of our tour, the Independence Pass. A crazy stretch of road which today finds its end in Colorado Springs, the second largest city in Colorado. Overnight stay in Colorado Springs. Tour length: about 320 Km

Day 14: Colorado Springs - Denver

Today's route is not long, because we want to arrive in Denver in time to bring our bikes back and finish this dream tour there. Tour length: about 120 km

Day 15: Return flight

Transfer to the airport and return flight home.

Day 16: End of this hammer tour
