Tour itinerary:

Day 01: Flight to Seattle

Upon arrival at the airport, shuttle transfer to a centrally located mid-range hotel near the airport and the rental station. The rest of the evening is at your leisure. Overnight stay in the Seattle/SeaTac area.

Day 02: Seattle City Tour - Bike Pickup, 65 km

This morning you have the opportunity to explore DownTown Seattle. There is the possibility to book an optional tour. You will take the airport train to downtown Seattle where you will transfer to one of the open-top double-decker buses. During this tour, you can visit the walking distance Pike Place Market, known for its salmon-throwing fishmongers, the Space Needle, the unique Seattle Aquarium, and the Harley-Davidson® store. Your guide will be on hand to offer advice and assistance. In the afternoon, the tour briefing will take place and you will be transferred to the rental station, where you will pick up your machines. After a short briefing, you will return to your hotel and have dinner together. Overnight stay in Seattle/SeaTac.

TIP: City Tour Seattle

Day 03: Highway 101 - Canada - Vancouver - Stanley Park, 285 km

This morning you will have an early start to your Harley® adventure in Western Canada - with a great day's ride. All the luggage you need for the tour will be packed into the support vehicle in advance and you can leave any superfluous items at the hotel. After leaving the city, you will follow the famous Highway 1 for a short distance and then reach the Canadian border. The formalities usually take only a little time. You will cross Vancouver and, if there is enough time, visit Stanley Park, the green lung of Vancouver, before you reach your central overnight hotel in North Vancouver.

Day 04: Vancouver, 60 km

Today you have free time in Vancouver. You have the opportunity to participate in a highly recommended three to five-hour whale or orca watching tour. You will mostly see the playful orcas, but also other whale species that are native to the region at this time of year. If you didn't do it yesterday, you will visit Stanley Park after the whale watching tour and have your lunch break there. In the late afternoon, there is the possibility to visit the Capilano Suspension Bridge and its park near the hotel. This attraction is also a must. You can then spend the evening in a good restaurant near the hotel. Overnight stay in North Vancouver.

TIP: Whale Watching & Capilano Suspension Bridge

Day 05: Whistler - Coastal Mountains - Fraser River - Kamloops, 440 km

You start your tour in the morning on the "Sea to Sky" Highway, which leads you first to the Winter Olympics town of Whistler. You continue your journey through the Coastal Mountains and reach the small town of Lillooet on the Fraser River, passing crystal clear, deep mountain lakes and over beautiful mountain passes. Passing through the Cariboo Region, you will reach its capital Kamloops in the late afternoon. Overnight stay in Kamloops.

TIP: Bear watching tour

Day 06: Helmcken Falls - Thompson River - wild bears, 330

- 420 km

Today you will ride through the Canadian wilderness along the Thompson River to Clearwater. You will ride, weather permitting, from there up the spur road to the worthwhile Helmcken Falls (plus 90 km). Around noon, you will reach Blue River, where you have the possibility to see one or more of the black bears or grizzlies on an optional jet boat tour. You will follow the Yellowhead Highway to the Valemount area. You will spend the night within sight of Mt. Robson and not far from the entrance to Jasper National Park. Overnight stay in the Valemount area.

TIP: Bear watching tour

Day 07: Rocky Mountains - Jasper - Icefield Parkway, 280 km

In the morning, coming from the west, you will reach the mighty, 3954m high Mt. Robson, which is also called the "Monarch of the Rockies". You will pass the federal border to Alberta and enter the Mountain Time Zone. In the small town of Jasper, which is the heart of the national park of the same name, you will make a short stop. Afterward, the rest of the day is spent on what is probably the most beautiful road in the Canadian Rockies, the "Icefields Parkway". The Parkway connects the two national parks of the same name with the towns of Jasper and Banff on a length of 285 km. You will visit the Athabasca Falls and see the dazzling white glaciers. A stop at the visitor center of the Columbia Ice Field may not be missing here, of course, and if the time and the weather play along, you can take an optional bus tour to the glacier field. Just enjoy the unique 360-degree nature panorama of this dream road, which always leads you along the main road through the heart of the mountains. Today you will stay overnight in a simple lodge directly on the parkway.

Day 08: Lake Louise - Yoho & Kootenay National Park - Great Plaines - Calgary, 290 km

In the morning you can enjoy a coffee at the Chateau Lake Louise Hotel. The beautiful view of the lake and the glacier is free of charge. Afterward, you will ride another 60 kilometers on the Icefield Parkway past Banff where it ends. You will see the Yoho & Kootenay National Park on the east side, follow a part of the Cowboy Trail, and reach the metropolis Calgary. What would have become of this city in the prairies if it wasn't only 80 km away from the best ski resorts of the Canadian Rockies? The days when the city made its money in the cattle trade are long gone. Nearby tourism and oil are now Calgary's main sources of income. Once a year, the Calgary Stampede, the ultimate rodeo world championship of cowboys and cowgirls, takes place here. You'll have your lunch break here, at the local dealer's 50s-Harley-Davidson® diner, before moving into your nearby quarters in the city center. You'll have a chance to see the city this afternoon and take in some of the country & western feel. From the Calgary Tower, you have the best overview. Overnight stay in downtown Calgary.

Day 09: Cowboy Trail - Crowsnest Pass - Fort Steele, 430 km

First thing this morning you will take the so-called Cowboy Trail under your wheels again. You will cross the Crowsnest Pass, which is rather low now but became sadly famous due to a huge landslide in the last century. Through the Rockies, via the ski resort of Fernie, you will reach Fort Steele. More than 60 original houses, the General Store, a newspaper printing plant, and a working historic railroad show life around 1890 in this museum village, which you can also visit. Fancy some marinated pot roast or Kassler's ribs? Then you've come to the right place for dinner in Kimberly. The top addresses are called "the old Bauernhaus" or "Bavarian Platzl". Here you can find everything that North America thinks is German cuisine! (Although the apple strudel is really good!) With the closing of the last mine in the 70s, the idea of the Bavarian place was born. The overnight stay today is in the Kimberly area.

Day 10: Kootenay NP - Glacier NP - Revelstoke, 400 - 440 km

Today you will ride the scenic Highway 95 again along the western Rockies. Passing Kootenay National Park, you will cross the beautiful Glacier National Park on the Trans-Canada Highway 1. In the afternoon, weather permitting, you will ride up the spur road into Revelstoke National Park. Here you will take a 1-hour hike, which will give you a 360-degree panoramic view of this part of the Rockies. Afterward, you will reach your overnight destination Revelstoke.

Day 11: Revelstoke NP - Glacial Lakes - Castlegar, 310 km

In the morning your tour takes you south again. You will follow the Columbia River, which stretches again and again to almost endless, emerald green and deep blue mountain lakes. Depending on the route and time, you will cross one of these lakes by ferry to get to Kootenay Lake. There you will have your lunch break in the historic town of Kaslo. The Kaslo Hotel directly on the lake, with its beautiful terrace, is the perfect place for this. In the afternoon you will follow the Kootenay River to cross the river over the old steel bridge at Nelson. In Castlegar, the Kootenay rejoins the Columbia River, which will later form the border between the states of Washington and Oregon in the USA. Overnight stay in the Castlegar area.

Day 12: Kettle River - Washington State - Leavenworth, 470 km

You leave the Columbia River in the morning and follow the Kettle River to cross the USA border again at Grand Forks. Again, the formalities take only a little time. You will cross Okanogan National Forest and reach the valley of the same name for lunch, which is known for its numerous fruit plantations. In the afternoon, you will meet the Columbia River again and follow it into the North Cascade Mountains. Overnight stay will be in the historic mountain village of Leavenworth.

Day 13: Cascades - Mount Rainier NP - Seattle, 410 km

This morning you will ride through the unique North Cascades Mountains and reach Mount Rainier National Park via beautiful mountain passes. On a clear day, you can catch a glimpse of the highest mountain of the continental USA, Mt. Rainier, with more than 4300 m in height. In the afternoon, you will return to your starting point in Seattle and return the motorcycles to the rental station. You can end the day with a dinner together and review your experiences. Overnight stay near the airport of Seattle/SeaTac.

Day 14: Flight home to Europe

In the course of the morning, the shuttle transfer to the Seattle airport takes place, and the flight home with a renowned scheduled airline (transfer connection possible) back to your place of departure.

Day 15: Arrival in Europe

Arrival at your departure airport in the morning. End of the Canada trip.
