Here you will find a program especially developed for motorcyclists.

Due to its special geographical structure and nature, Greece offers a great variety of possibilities. Besides the 13.676 km of coastline, Hellas offers a great combination of mountains, rivers, canyons, streams, lakes and valleys.

We know these areas from the "old days", from the time when there were no motorways in Greece. These routes are still very important because they connect the different mountain villages with the rest of the world. The other dream landscapes we ride through can be enjoyed "on top". You can enjoy a coffee and chat with the locals at a kafenion everywhere.

Look forward to a journey through the more than 5000 years of history of this beautiful country and experience the hospitality from the country where this term originated.

Our tip: at the various ancient sites, such as Delphi, Mycenae, Epidavros etc., take part in the guided tours, which are also available in German, and let yourself be enchanted by the old stories.

Day 1: Arrival in Igoumenitsa

The entry takes place on your own via Italy with the ferry from Ancona, Venice, Bari or Brindisi (subject to change). Since most ferries run overnight, you are already fit for the journey after the simple entry formalities. Today's leg takes you to Ioannina, the capital of the Greek province of Epirus. Here you can visit the historic old town and enjoy a magnificent view of the city and the freshwater lake Pamvotida from the citadel. Here you will also find first class restaurants and bars for your physical well-being. Overnight stay in Ioannina. Daily kilometre: about 96 Km

Day 2: Ioannina - Kastoria

Today you ride to the Pindos Mountains. You have two possibilities to reach the day's destination. In any case we recommend you to ride to the Vikos gorge and enjoy this amazing view. Vikos Gorge is registered in the Guinness Book of Records as the deepest gorge in the world, measured by the ratio of depth to width. The further ride to Kastoria through the mountains will more than inspire you on a motorcycle. Kastoria lies picturesquely on a rocky peninsula in the freshwater lake of Kastoria. Fifty-seven of the seventy-two medieval churches are located in the old town of Kastoria alone. You will not be able to miss them. From the 14th century until the end of the last one, Kastoria was famous all over the world for the unique processing of furs. Our recommendation for today is to do at least the "little walk around the lake". This is about 10 km long and leads you along the peninsula. Plane trees, wild chestnuts and other trees will provide the necessary shade along the way. One of the main attractions there is the former monastery Panagia Mavriotissa from 1083, where you can admire the historical frescos and enjoy the panorama from the shore. Another highlight on the way is the "Dragon's Cave", which is a very nice cave with thousands of stalagmites and stalactites. For your physical well-being there are numerous and great restaurants and cafes along the promenade of the lake. Daily kilometres: approx. 164-183

Day 3: Kastoria - Naousa

Today again the way is the goal and a wonderful motorbike route is waiting for you. The continuation of the journey is thought over the old roads. In Edessa you can have a lunch break at the local waterfalls. On hot days it is a very welcome refreshment. The onward journey to Naousa is also a beautiful route. Overnight stay in Naousa. Daily kilometres: approx. 1544th day: Naousa - Vergina - Paralia KaterinisToday's stage is not long, but very steeped in history, because today you dive into the history of Macedonia. The excavations of Vergina are about the ancient city of Aigai, which was once the capital of the Macedonian Empire. Here is a large tumulus (hill grave), in which almost certainly the graves of Macedonian kings were located. Vergina has been included in the UNESCO list of cultural heritage. Take the time to learn more about this part of Greek history from this period. The continuation of the journey is guaranteed to be fun again. Today's destination is Paralia Katerinis, where you are guaranteed to jump into the salty waters of the Aegean Sea. Overnight stay in the Paralia Katerinis area. Daily kilometres: approx. 80

Day 4: Paralia Katerinis - Kalambaka

Today it's time to say "Goodbye" to the beach of Paralia Katerinis and "Hello" to the Meteora monasteries. The road will take you past Mount Olympus. Who has not heard stories about this mountain and its inhabitants from Greek mythology? There are very beautiful corners to relax the body and great views for the soul. The day's destination today is Kalambaka in the region of Thessaly, where you have two overnight stays. Kilometre per day: approx. 168

Day 5: Meteora Monasteries

Today you have the opportunity to admire these famous monasteries, which are part of the UNESCO World Heritage, built on the top of the unique rock formations. Even an earlier James Bond 007 film with Roger Moore (For your eyes only-In deadly mission) used this area as a backdrop. Review the evening in Kalambaka with Tsipouro or Retsina. Overnight stay in Kalambaka. Daily kilometers: about 20

Day 6: Kalambaka - Arta

Get ready today on one of the most winding roads of the tour as you pass through Epiros. A wonderful stretch to Arta is waiting for you again. Lakes, rivers, creeks and endless curves. The overnight stay is in Arta. Kilometres per day: approx. 173

Day 7: Arta - Lakopetra, Peloponnese

Today you leave Epirus and ride through central Greece to Peloponnese. The journey takes you past numerous small and large lakes and is very entertaining. The main attraction today is probably the crossing of the Gulf of Corinth via the approx. 2.5 km long and 65 m high Rion-Antirion Bridge (officially Charilaos-Trikoupis Bridge) which is also subject to toll. Past Patras the day's destination is Lakopetra. Overnight stay in the Patras-Lakopetra area. Daily kilometres: approx. 205

Day 8: Lakopetra - Olympia - Methoni

What's the story? There's hardly a place in Greece without history. Especially not in the Peloponnese. After a beautiful ride through the North Peloponnese you will soon arrive at ancient Olympia. According to the official calendar, the Olympic Games were held here from 776 BC to 393 AD. Enjoy the time there and then ride along the beautiful West Peloponnese coast past Pyrgos to Methoni, where you will stay overnight. On the way you will find some possibilities to stop, jump into the water, find something delicious to eat and enjoy. Kilometre per day: about 218

Day 9: Methoni - Sparti - Monemvasia

The neighborhood's got it bad again. "This is Sparta" and "Molon Lave" have been heard once in their lives. That's your stopover today, too. Visit the ancient acropolis of Sparti. There are only remains left, but those that are worth visiting. The day's destination is the small town of Monemvasia on the eastern coast of the Peloponnese. The destiny here is more Byzantine. Enjoy the great view in the evening with wine and good food. Overnight stay in Monemvasia. Kilometre per day: about 215

Day 10: Monemvasia - Porto Heli

A wonderful route awaits you again today. You ride mainly along the beautiful and very curvy eastern coast of Peloponnese. "Old stones" are everywhere. But in any case you should make a stop in ancient Epidaurus. The history here goes back to 5000 B.C. Here some foundation stones of medicine and arts have been laid. Do not miss to visit the theatre, a marvel of acoustics. Your day destination and overnight stay is now Porto Heli, a popular Greek holiday resort. Kilometre per day: approx. 247

Day 11: Porto Heli - Loutraki

If you didn't manage to stop at Epidaurus yesterday, then you have a second chance today. Preferably with a German speaking guide who can tell you the most amazing stories. Also the Mycenaean excavation sites and Corinth are on today's program. The trip across the Corinth Channel will also be one of the highlights of this tour. Your destination for today is also a popular holiday resort in Attica, and is called Loutraki. Daily kilometres: approx. 145

Day 12: Loutraki - Delphi

Today you are getting ready for another "must have experienced" goal. Delphi, the place where the famous oracle foretold his prophecies. Since 1987, the excavations at Delphi have been on UNESCO's World Heritage List. Overnight stay in the Delphi area. Daily kilometres: about 185

Day 13: Delphi - Patras

Today you can enjoy the beautiful southern coastal road of central Greece or, if you prefer, the northern Gulf of Corinth. You will have the pleasure of crossing the famous Rion-Antirion bridge again and spend the night in Patras so that you can take the ferry the following day which will take you back to Italy. Daily kilometres: approx. 123

Day 14: Patras - Italy

End of this great dream tour through Greece.
