In this 3 days ride, we will show you all the best spots that you can't miss.

Itinerary:

DAY 1

The day starts in the wonderful city of Porto.

The fun begins!

On the first part of the day, the route will take you all the way to Peso da Régua, the main city in the Douro Valley.

You will be riding on roads full of curves and twists, almost without any straight lines!

The 2nd part of the day will take you along the famous N222 (considered one of the best riding roads in the world), with some detours to some of the hidden gems of the region, like the Desejosa Valley!

After that, it’s time to get back to the N222, before arriving at your accommodation, a magnificent “Quinta”, where you will enjoy the flavors of the region.

DAY 2

The day starts with a ride along the Sabor river, with its recent constructed dam.

Then it’s time to enter the heart of the Douro valley, riding through a little backroad, where you can almost touch the river with your own hands. Take time to stop and enjoy the silence and the beauty of the valley!

After that, it’s time to leave the Douro for a few kms, and ride up the hills, riding on the Tua region and through the village of Favaios, famous for the Moscatel wine.

Finally, at the end of this full day, you will arrive at one of the most beautiful “Quintas” of the valley, where you will enjoy a gourmet dinner in the middle of the vineyards, accompanied with a wine tasting of the wines of the “Quinta”.

DAY 3

On the 3rd and last day of the Tour, it’s time to leave the Douro valley behind, and head west, towards the coastline.

The last road in the valley it’s a small backroad that passes through the middle of the vineyards, and through some of the oldest “Quintas” of the region!

After the Douro, the next highlight is the Alvão Natural Park, with its magnificent waterfall and its twisting roads.

You will ride on one of the most thrilling roads in Portugal: the N304!

The Tour is almost coming to an end, but before its time to enjoy the twists of the Marão Mountain range, and stop at Amarante, for a well-deserved drink at a traditional location, famous for its pastry.

The last 65 kms are a relaxing ride on the highway till Porto.
