Here you have with a little luck the possibility to see the BIG FIVE, these consist of elephant, lion, buffalo, rhino, and leopard. Mountains, bushveld, and tropical forests are all part of nature here. After returning to the hotel, the first meeting with your motorcycle guides will be for the tour briefing and your welcome dinner. Overnight in the Hazyview/White River area.

Day 05: Motorcycle pick up - Kingdom of Eswatini (Swaziland), 280 km

In the morning you will be transferred to our local HarleyDavidson® rental partner or pick up your bikes at the hotel and after completing the formalities, you will take over your motorcycles. The route takes you today to the northern border of the Kingdom of Eswatini or also known as Swaziland, which lies like an island within the South African state. This small kingdom is known for its wild landscape and traditional festivals that reflect the Swazi culture. In the afternoon, you will continue south to the capital city of Mbabane and tonight's overnight stop in this region.

Day 06: Swaziland - Swazi Candles - St. Lucia, 370 km

Today you continue through the south of Swaziland, wide sugar cane plantations accompany you on the way. Here the beautiful Swazi candles are handmade, these decorative unique pieces, show animals and African culture, which you can admire during a stop in one of the small factories. You will leave Swaziland through a small game reserve and South Africa awaits you with St.Lucia, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This unique wetland in the estuary to the Indian Ocean is home to hundreds of crocodiles, hippos, and bird species.

OUR TIP: Hippo and Wildlife Evening Safari

Day 07: St. Lucia - Crocodiles & Hippos

OUR TIP: Crocodile and Hippo Boat Tour

After breakfast, the tour takes you to the KwaZulu-Natal province. Through unique landscapes, lined with small villages, endless sugar cane plantations, forest landscapes, and over the beautiful curvy roads you will reach the foot of the Drakensberg Mountains, which are over 3000 meters high. These can be seen from afar and offer plenty of leisure activities. Good restaurants, wineries, and local products make up the Natal Midlands. Two nights at Sani Pass, in the Drakensberg region.

Day 09: Drakensberg - Rest Day - Sani Pass & Kingdom of Lesotho

Today is a rest day at your leisure. The hotel offers a pool, spa, and also a round of golf is possible. Day 11: Klein Karoo - Graaff Reinet - Valley of Desolation, 310 km

Today your tour leads you through the Klein Karoo region to the next highlight. The old town of Graaff Reinet, with its over 200 listed buildings, is one of the best-preserved historic sites in the country. With a bit of luck, you will see some of the numerous blue monkeys and antelopes on the way. Before the lunch break, we will ride over the narrow and winding road, into the Valley of Desolation National Park. After a short walk, you will have a fantastic view of the village, the valley, and the Karoo. In time for lunch, you will arrive at your centrally located hotel. There you can relax by the pool or take a walk around this beautiful town.

Day 12: Karoo - Oudtshorn - Ostrich Farms, 340 km

Actually, Oudtshorn would be just a sleepy little town behind the mountains, if it wasn't for some big ostrich farms. The old heyday of the ostrich farms is now over, but the meat and leather production has become profitable again for the local breeders. When visiting one of these farms you will get an interesting guided tour and an insight into today's use of this unique bird. For dinner, of course, fresh ostrich fillet is on the menu, this is paired with one of the good local wines and the evening is perfect. Overnight stay in the Oudtshorn area.

Day 13: Route 62 - Port and Whisky - Ronnies Sex Shop - Country Pumpkin, 335 km

This morning the ride continues along the famous Route 62.

From the degree of popularity here in the country, this can be compared with the American Route 66, only a bit smaller, but at least as charming. It originally served to open up the Klein Karoo. The first stop is the Boplaas Winery with its excellent port wines and local whiskies. On the way, you will of course visit the obligatory biker pubs, like Ronny's Sex Shop or the Country Pumpkin in Barrydale. The owners are of course also all enthusiastic Harley® riders and always look forward to a biker visit. In the afternoon there are three more beautiful passes and you will spend the night in the Touws River area, the whole region is known for its dried fruit industry and the countless orchards bear witness to this.

Day 14: Cape Winelands - The 7 Passes Tour, 325 km

In the morning you will start with the first beautiful stretch over the passes in the Winelands. After a coffee break in the middle of the wine region, you will ride the two winding Baviaans Kloof and Du Toits Kloof passes and after your lunch break at a wine estate, you will take the Franschoek Pass under your wheels. The Winelands, with famous towns such as Robertson, Paarl, Franschoek, and Stellenbosch, is just an hour's ride from Cape Town. The region is home to the oldest settlements of Europeans on the black continent. The very fertile area is especially known for its agricultural products and, of course, wine. Over some more challenging mountain passes, you will reach the heart of the wine country in the early evening. Overnight stay in the Stellenbosch area.

Day 15: Cape of Good Hope - Chapman's Peak - Cape Town, 160 km

You leave Stellenbosch and the wine region. From there you ride back to the coast, where you meet the Atlantic Ocean again at Muizenberg. Along the coast, you will reach the Cape of Good Hope and Cape Point. You will continue on the famous scenic road, Chapman's Peak Drive, to the idyllic Hout Bay, which is known for its seal colonies and the white sharks that hunt there on the offshore islands.

In time for the lunch break, you will arrive back in Cape Town via Camps Bay, where you will spend the last two days. After dropping off the motorcycles, you will have the afternoon and evening at your leisure. Visit one of the many restaurants on the Victoria & Albert Waterfront. Overnight stay in Cape Town.

OUR TIP: Sunset on the sailing catamaran, followed by dinner in one of the good steak & fish restaurants of Cape Town (depending on the weather possibly also on the following day).

Day 16: Free time in Cape Town

Every adventure has an end and unfortunately, today is your last day in Cape Town. Today is at your free disposal. After breakfast, you can start an optional city tour with a visit to Table Mountain. This bus tour includes all the important sights and your local guide will show you the highlights. We recommend you to visit the Waterfront, Long Street, Green Market Square for shopping or take one of the helicopter tours offered locally. Overnight stay in Cape Town.
