Description

You will visit the volcanoes Tongariro and Mt. Taranaki, which are deeply rooted in the culture, as well as the mystical Fiordland. In between are spectacular coastal roads, fantastic curves and endless expanses in the interior. This turns a motorcycle trip into a motorcycle experience - kilometre after kilometre!

On this motorcycle tour through New Zealand you will experience the pulsating Auckland and the enchanting island world of the Bay of Islands, before you are allowed to enjoy the winding coastal road of the Coromandel Peninsula. In Rotorua and Taupo you can admire hot springs and hissing geysers. You'll also experience a Maori cultural evening and have time to visit the volcanic region in Tongariro National Park. Via the spectacular Forgotten World Highway you will reach the Republic of Whangamomona and Mt. Taranaki, whose often snow-covered volcanic cone is a popular photo motif. The capital Wellington is the starting point to the South Island, where the golden sandy beaches of the Abel Tasman National Park await. Fascinating is the route along the west coast, curve to curve, the rough Tasman Sea on one side and the deep green rainforest on the other. Between the glacier region and the adventure world in Queenstown you will pass the Haast Pass. You will experience the Milford Sound intensively on a boat tour, the dead end into the sound is breathtaking enough to be ridden twice! Over the desert-like Lindis Pass you reach the bright blue lakes Pukaki and Tekapo, with the mighty Mt. Cook massif in the background.

After 19 impressive days, the tour ends in the "Garden City" of Christchurch.
