Accommodation: |
Standard category: Generally 3-star hotels, mostly in central locations |
Comfort category: 4-star hotels or upscale room category in 3-star hotels |
As a general rule, comfortable hotels cannot be guaranteed in every location. While there is usually a wide range of hotels of all categories in the major cities and tourist centers, we have to switch to lower-classified hotels in smaller towns or rural areas. We then try to compensate for this by offering a higher room category, for example. |
Should you wish to upgrade to a higher-class hotel, this is usually possible in larger cities. Please do not hesitate to contact us! |

Arrival: The tour is ridden by your own motorcycle, the arrival and departure is individual. |

Route description and GPS data: The route description and GPS data correspond to the itinerary as described in the tour description. Individual changes and optional programs are not taken into account. The start and end points of our GPS data are usually the city/town centers of the day's destination, as the hotels we usually book may vary. You will not receive route descriptions or GPS data for customized trips. |

Parking spaces For this tour, we generally use hotels with parking lots. We reserve a parking space for you when you book (where possible, no obligation). Parking fees may apply, payable on-site. The amount of parking fees can vary greatly depending on the location and hotel. |

Description
You will experience the famous forest and lake landscape of Masuria and the Polish Baltic Sea coast on this tour. If you like, make a stop at a lake in Masuria or one of the extensive beaches. Most of the stages take you along country roads and secondary routes, giving you a glimpse of rural Poland away from the tourist strongholds. In contrast, you'll have the opportunity to explore the cities of Poznan and Warsaw.
-
Tour character:
The tour takes you mainly along country roads and secondary roads. Some stages - especially around the larger cities - may take you along expressways. The daily stages are usually between 200 and 330 km and are therefore easily manageable. So there may be time for an extra detour. On many days we offer alternative or supplementary routings. In Masuria, you can determine the length of the daily tour yourself.
The tour will be ridden by your own motorcycle, and the departure and arrival will be done individually.
If you wish, you can extend the trip by one night in Warsaw or Gdansk. Contact us!
-
Highlights:
- varied tour over beautiful back roads
- unspoiled Bialowieza National Park
- nature impressions in Masuria
- Hanseatic flair in Gdansk
- Polish Baltic coast
-
Tour itinerary:
Day 1: Arrival
Individual arrival in Poznan. After arrival, if you like, you can stroll through the Old Market with its pretty merchants' houses and the Town Hall and get to know the city on a walking tour. Overnight stay in Poznan.
-
Day 2: Poznan - Warsaw (approx. 300 or 320 km)
Today you will head for the Polish capital. You will ride on secondary roads through the Polish province. After you arrive in Warsaw (Warszawa) you will have time to discover the fascinating capital. Be sure to pay a visit to the Old Town and the Palace of Culture. The view from the observation terrace gives a good overview of the city, making it a great way to get in the mood. Overnight stay in Warsaw.
-
Day 3: Warsaw - Bialystok (approx. 340 km)
On your route, you will reach the Bialowieza National Park. The area, characterized by primeval forest, is - thanks to successful breeding and reintroduction - the habitat of imposing bison. The wonderful, primeval landscape invites you to a nice ride. Then we ride on: Bialystok is your destination for the day. Here the Branicki Palace, the baroque town hall, and the Polish Orthodox Church attract visitors. Overnight stay in Bialystok.
-
Day 4: Bialystok - Masuria (approx. 200 km)
After the Bialowieza National Park, the next wonderful landscape is on the program: Masuria. Masuria is probably one of the most famous regions of Poland and is enchanted with deep forests, small villages, and lonely lakesides. The following day you will have time for an extensive sightseeing tour. Overnight stay in Masuria.
-
Day 5: Masuria
Large round trip through Masuria, the "land of a thousand lakes". Small villages and towns invite you to stop. In Lötzen (Gizycko), for example, you will find the Boyen Fortress and the swing bridge, which is rare in Europe. Heiligelinde (Swieta Lipka) is a famous place of pilgrimage with a baroque Jesuit church. Rastenburg (Ketrzyn) or Dönhoffstädt Castle could also be on your program. In any case, you will enjoy the ride through the Masurian landscape! The length of the stages is up to you. Overnight stay in Masuria.
-
Day 6: Masuria - Mariánské Lázn? - Gdansk (approx. 290 or 300 km)
First you ride to Marienburg (Malbork). If you wish, you can take the time to visit the huge castle of the Order. It is the largest medieval fortified building in Europe and was the residence of the Grand Master of the Teutonic Order for centuries. After arriving in Gdansk (Gdansk), take an evening stroll to get acquainted with the city. The former Hanseatic city is a wonderfully restored old town. Worth seeing are the beautiful Neptune Fountain, the Rechtstädtisches Rathaus, and the impressive Marienkirche. From there, the Frauengasse, lined with neat townhouses, leads directly to the Mottlau and the old Krantor. You can spend the evening in one of the many restaurants along the Motlawa River. Overnight stay in Gdansk.
-
Day 7: Gdansk - Rügenwalde (approx. 210 km)
Today you ride through Pomerania to Rügenwalde (Darlowo). Today the way is the goal: You should choose the side road and plan time for small side trips to the sea on the way. This way you will get a wonderful impression of the Polish Baltic Sea coast! Overnight stay in Rügenwalde or surroundings.
-
Day 8: Rügenwalde - Szczecin (approx. 220 km)
Today is the last stage: You ride to Szczecin (Stettin) on the German-Polish border. Overnight stay in Szczecin.
-
Day 9: Departure
Individual journey home.
