Description
A blend of mountains and valleys make this a memorable experience!
Where vultures will keep a beady eye on you from their eyries. Discover the hidden historical gems of Malaga province, the mountain cheeses, hams, and olives of Pizarra and Antequera, and all of the above connected by some of the most fabulous biking roads you’ll ever come across, including some fabulous green-lining if that takes your fancy.
Are you in desperate need of a short break, yet one that is packed with exciting discoveries?
Come and base yourself in the outstanding Hotel de Catalonia Reina Victoria in glorious Ronda, with its rooftop swimming pool overlooking Spain’s oldest bull ring. And from there, gorge yourself on some of the most fabulous biking roads on the continent.
Andalucia distinguishes itself from the rest of Spain due to its spectacular climate (300+ days of sunshine per year anyone?) and its unique Moorish history, based on an Arabic presence that lasted mostly harmoniously for close to 8 centuries. This tour will offer you some of the best experiences, both biking and otherwise, that Spain has to offer.

Itinerary:
Day 1: Malaga – tour briefing and group dinner
A friendly face from our team will meet you at the airport and take you to the hotel in Ronda. You will have time before dinner and the briefing to do some sightseeing or use the hotel’s facilities. The whole group will then get together for dinner in a local restaurant where you’ll get to know your fellow biking companions.
-
Day 2: East of Ronda
Head towards El Chorro, famous for its lakes and gorges, including the famous Caminito del Rey cliff walk. Loop south and then back up to Ardales and El Burgo along some fabulous twisty roads. Big skies, big country. A day you won’t forget.
-
Day 3: West of Ronda
Get lost (metaphorically speaking) in the outstanding Parque Natural de Grazalema. Your guide will take you through terrain reminiscent of the Rockies, with vultures hovering overhead. A true mountain day, taking in the villages of Zahara de la Sierra, Coripe, El Bosque, and Ubrique.
-
Day 4: South of Ronda
Time to get a glimpse of the point where the Mediterranean and the Atlantic come face to face at Tarifa, a Mecca for windsurfing and kitesurfing enthusiasts. You’ll head south through the artist’s village of Gaucin (along yet more wonderfully twisty roads) and feel the wind as you come out by the ocean.
