Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Kolkata – Arrival and pick up from Kolkata International airport and drop at the hotel located in the heart of Kolkata. Explore the surroundings and later in the evening, meet your fellow riders and your Road Captain. The Road Captain will brief you about the upcoming ride and what to expect. Head out for a group dinner in an iconic restaurant. Overnight in Kolkata.

Day 2: Kolkata sightseeing – Start the day with a guided walking tour through one of the neighbourhoods of the city to get a better understanding of the history and culture of the erstwhile capital of the British Raj. Later, head out for a short city tour to cover the main highlights of Kolkata. Evening at leisure. Overnight in Kolkata.

Day 3: Kolkata to Guwahati – Catch an early morning flight from Kolkata to Guwahati. Check into the hotel and meet the rest of the crew and your Royal Enfield Himalayan motorcycles. Head out of the city on your motorcycles to a backroad specially selected to give you a taste of what’s to come and for you to get familiar with the motorcycles. The company mechanic will make any adjustments to the motorcycles to make your ride more comfortable. Evening at leisure. Overnight in Guwahati.

Day 4: Guwahati to Kaziranga – The official ride starts and we head to the UNESCO World Heritage site of Kaziranga National Park. In the evening, enjoy a cultural show and a traditional Assamese meal. Overnight in Kaziranga.

Day 5: Kaziranga safari– Head out at sunrise for a jeep safari through one of the 3 zones / ranges of the park. The eastern range is great for birdwatchers. In the afternoon, head out for another jeep safari through a different range. Kaziranga is a great example of conservation of the Indian One Horned Rhino and the Royal Bengal Tiger. Overnight in Kaziranga.

Day 6: Kaziranga to Bomdila – Start the journey into Arunachal Pradesh, known as the “Land of the Rising Sun” and enjoy the twist and turns of the Eastern Himalayas. On the way, stop at an Orchid park and small waterfalls along the way. Upon reaching Bomdila, check out the nearby monastery and explore the local market. Evening at leisure. Overnight in Bomdila.

Day 7: Bomdila to Tawang – On this day, you’ll be riding across one of the highest mountain passes in the Eastern Himalayas, known as Sela Pass, 4170 m (13,700 ft). Make a short stop at Jaswant Garh War memorial, a memorial dedicated to the fallen soldiers of the Indo-China War, 1962. Upon reaching Tawang, check into the hotel and explore the local market. Overnight in Tawang.

Day 8: Tawang sightseeing - Head out to explore the main sights of Tawang like the Tawang monastery, one of the largest monasteries in Asia. Then check out the giant Buddha statue and Urgeyling monastery, the birthplace of the 6th Dalai Lama. In the evening, watch a sound and light show that showcases the 1961 war with China and the role of the Indian Army. Overnight in Tawang.

Day 9: Day excursion to Zemithang - After breakfast, ride to the small village of Zemithang, located close to the Indo-Bhutan border. Stop at the stunning waterfalls along the way and then explore the Zemithang Stupa. Later, head back to Tawang and enjoy the evening in one of the local restaurants. Overnight in a hotel in Tawang.

10: Tawang to Dirang - Ride to the small town of Dirang. Head out to explore the stunning Dirang valley, Nuranang Waterfalls and then take a short detour to Mandala Top, where 108 Buddhist Stupas are located. Overnight in Dirang.

Day 11: Dirang sightseeing - Head out to explore the stunning Sangti Valley. Visit the local Mompa people and explore the valley with stunning Kiwi and Apple orchards. Also explore the sheep breeding farms. Take a guided walk around Thembang Dzong, a fortified village that is on the UNESCO shortlist. Overnight in Dirang.

Day 12: Dirang to Guwahati – Ride back to Guwahati. Enjoy a party on a boat while cruising the Brahmaputra River. Share stories with your fellow riders and the crew. Overnight in Guwahati.

Day 13: Guwahati to Kolkata - Catch a flight back to Kolkata and enjoy a farewell dinner with the group members. Overnight in Kolkata.

Day 14: Departure Day - Drop at Kolkata International airport for your onward flight back home. We wish you safe travels and this will be the end of our services.
