Guided, five nights in La Massana

The meeting point is Girona in Catalonia, and you ride your own machine; transport there can be booked as an option. Tanks are filled every morning before departure, and an experienced guide leads the group. Five nights on half board are spent at the four-star hotel in La Massana, which offers WiFi, a cafeteria, a restaurant, a wellness area, a fitness room and covered motorcycle parking. The roads are tarmac throughout and ask for confident cornering up to 180 degrees.

Highlights

The Port d'Envalira

At around 2,400 metres it is the highest pass in the Pyrenees and open all year. The stage climbs from La Massana via Pas de la Casa and back again, with the surrounding peaks of the range in view throughout.

A Base in La Massana

Five nights at the four-star hotel mean day loops without packing the bags. Half board, a wellness area and a fitness room wait in the evening, and the machine stands under cover right at the house.

Setting Off from Girona

The first stage begins in the Catalan provincial capital of around 100,000 people. Via Joanetes and the Coll de Merolla the road climbs gently, with the Parc Natural del Cadí-Moixeró in view along the way.

Andorra with the Group

Ordino, Canillo and the Mirador del Roc del Quer sit close together on one loop. An experienced guide leads the group over Pas de la Casa and the Col du Chioula, so bends and views shape the whole day.

The Coll de Jou to Finish

The last stage leaves La Massana via Estamariu and the Coll de Jou towards Girona. Good, winding roads without serious frost damage make this section a fitting close to the week in the mountains.
