What we offer
There is exactly one thing on offer here: motorcycle tours that specialised operators have already planned in full, ready for you to compare and book. The range runs from a long weekend of switchbacks to a multi-week expedition, from comfortable tarmac stages with hotels and luggage transfer to demanding off-road adventures far from sealed roads. Guided motorcycle tours travel as a group, with an experienced guide and a support vehicle; if you would rather set off alone, there are self-guided versions with a finished roadbook and accommodation already booked. It is meant for anyone who handles their machine confidently and wants to spend the holiday riding rather than planning: newcomers on well-surfaced routes, high-mileage riders on long stages, couples two-up, solo riders and small groups. Bring your own machine or rent one on site — and what a trip costs, which riding level it asks for and what is included is stated on every tour, before you book.
The photos come from tours booked through Motourismo — taken by guides and guests on the road.
By region
Every continent has its own handwriting: tight switchbacks and dense infrastructure on one side, endless gravel and long stages on the other. Each tile takes you to that region's overview with all of its tours.
There you will find the right countries, the best riding months and the routes a region is known for – without having to work through the entire catalogue first.
By country
The countries with the most bookable tours – every tile leads to that country's overview with all dates, riding levels and operators.
Orientation
Four questions decide whether a trip fits you – and all four can be filtered directly above.
Every tour carries a rating from 1 to 5. The lower levels stay on good tarmac with moderate daily stages; the upper ones demand experience on loose surfaces, at altitude or over long distances. Pick the level you ride confidently day to day – a holiday is the wrong moment to find your limits.
Guided motorcycle trips run as a group, with a guide, a support vehicle and planned logistics – you have nothing to organise on the road. Self-guided motorcycle tours hand you a roadbook, hotels and backup, but leave pace, breaks and the order of the day entirely to you.
On European routes you can often ride your own machine; for long-haul destinations a rental bike on site is usually cheaper and far simpler. If you still want your own along, book the transport through us – each tour description states what is included in the price.
Up to three days works as a long weekend, seven to fourteen days is the classic motorcycle holiday, and anything beyond that becomes a real long-haul trip with its own travel days. For distant destinations, plan two buffer days on top.
None of it an obvious fit? Give us a call – we know the operators personally and can tell you within minutes what realistically suits your riding profile.
Best time to travel
It's always the season somewhere. This overview shows which regions work best and when.
Exact dates are listed on each individual tour.
| Season | Destination | Temperature | Conditions |
|---|---|---|---|
| Spring March – May | Andalusia & Portugal Europe | 18–26°C | Mild coastal roads and grippy off-road tracks. |
| Balkans Europe | 15–24°C | Green trails, ideal for enduro beginners. | |
| Summer June – August | Alps & Dolomites Europe | 15–28°C | Passes are snow-free — peak season for carving corners. |
| Mongolia Asia | 18–30°C | A short window for expeditions across the steppe. | |
| Autumn September – November | Morocco Africa | 18–26°C | Sahara season — pleasant temperatures in the south. |
| Australia Oceania | 20–32°C | Southern summer — the best time for the Outback. | |

What you can rely on
Motourismo brokers trips; they are operated by the respective tour operator. What that means for you in practice:
We have been brokering motorcycle trips since 2010 and work with operators we have mostly known personally for years.
Every partner is vetted before being listed. 194 tours are bookable right now – all from specialised operators, not anonymous resellers.
Minimum and maximum group size are stated in every tour description before you book – no surprises at the meeting point.
On package tours the operator secures your payments under § 651r German Civil Code. You receive the security certificate from the operator before any payment falls due.
The operator's applicable cancellation scale is set out in the pre-contractual information – before you book, not after.
Booking
You pick your departure on the tour page and submit the booking. We pass it to the operator, who confirms it – the travel contract only comes into being with that confirmation. If the confirmation differs from your request, it counts as a new offer that you are free to accept or decline.
Deposit, balance and due dates follow the payment terms of the respective operator and are set out in the pre-contractual information for the tour. Payment goes directly to the operator, and the exact due date is stated on their invoice. No advance payment is made to Motourismo through the platform.
Yes. Withdrawal, rebooking and the resulting costs follow the operator's terms and §§ 651h ff. German Civil Code. You see the cancellation scale before booking. Declare the withdrawal in text form to the operator; declarations reaching us are forwarded without delay.
Both work. Solo riders book a place with their own machine; pillion places are booked separately and are almost always cheaper. Travelling alone, a single room supplement may apply depending on the operator – or a shared room can be arranged. The options appear in the booking form.
On many European tours, yes. For long-haul destinations a rental bike on site is usually the simpler and cheaper solution. If you want your own machine along anyway, we arrange the transport – the tour description tells you whether own bike, rental or both are foreseen.
Most guided tours have one – it is stated together with the maximum in every tour description. If it is not reached by the stated deadline, the operator may cancel the trip; you get back what you paid or switch to another date. Self-guided tours run regardless.
A valid licence and routine handling of your machine – tours at the lower riding levels ask for no more. From level 3 you should be used to longer daily stages, and from level 4 you also need experience on loose surfaces. If in doubt we will advise you beforehand, free and honestly.
