Seven nights aboard, a new stage each day

It begins in the seaside resort of Opatija on the northern Adriatic coast, where you ride your own motorcycle straight into the harbour and check into your floating hotel for the coming week. You unpack just once, since the ship carries your luggage to the next port every night. From day two onward the way leads over gravel tracks inland and along the coast road through ever-changing scenery between mountains, bays and islands. Experienced guides accompany the group in two units.

Highlights

Your Floating Hotel

On board you stay in the same cabin all week long while the ship sails into a new harbour every night. That means half board and comfort without packing suitcases or hauling luggage day after day.

Gravel Mountain Passes

About half of the daily stages run over gravel with mountain passes, switchbacks and sometimes loose surfaces in the hinterland of the coast – meant for experienced riders on machines with off-road-capable tyres.

The Adriatic Coast Road

Riding the famous Jadranska Magistrala ranks among the most beautiful motorcycle roads in the world, linking harbours, old towns and panoramas across both unpaved and paved sections of the coast.

Island Hopping by Ferry

Between Krk, Cres, Zadar and the island of Pag you cross by ferry several times, while the ship heads to the next harbour in parallel and carries your luggage safely along with it the whole way.

Guided Enduro Groups

Experienced guides accompany the week in two groups, offering tips on line choice and pace on gravel and keeping things safe and enjoyable on every stage between the coast and the hinterland.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

It is aimed at experienced adventure-bike riders who have already ridden narrow gravel roads before. It is not suitable for pure road machines or off-road beginners.

The daily stages range from 140 to 190 km, adding up to about 1,000 km in total from and back to Opatija – roughly half of it on unpaved roads.

No: you stay in the same cabin all week aboard the ship while it sails to the next harbour overnight – only the view outside changes daily.

A pillion passenger is possible in principle but not recommended; companions can instead stay aboard during the riding stages and explore the harbours.

We recommend off-road-oriented all-round tyres such as the Continental TKC 80 or Heidenau K60 Ranger, especially in wet conditions inland.
