Baggage restrictions:
Only luggage, only used items, nothing new/new
No dangerous goods (gas cylinders or similar)
No gifts for friends/acquaintances
Unsealed bags/cases (must be accessible to customs)
No medication, alcohol, weapons or other prohibited items
No liability is assumed for any items reported as lost

Transport insurance against total loss and transport damage to the motorcycle:
1,6 % of the vehicle value, at least €160,00 for the whole trip
The damage must be visible and the deductible is € 500,00
Paint and corrosion damages are not insurable.
Possibly with stowed luggage is unfortunately not insurable, we recommend to inquire about a luggage insurance.
Mobility: The offer is not suitable for people with reduced mobility. Please contact us for more information.

Packaging

A packaging for your motorcycle is not necessary.

Transport to Iceland

The approximate duration of transport will be 10 days. It is possible to retrieve your unpacked motorcycle at your premises.

Return Transport

Return transport will also be effected via ship. Of course, here you also have the option to book just a one-way transport. Our partner takes care of the organisation at the port of destination. The approximate duration of transport will be 10 days.

At the Destination (in Case of a one-way Transport)

Please contact the local representation of your shipping company after your arrival. After customs clearance has been effected, you just need to pick up your motorcycle and off you go! The approximate time duration comes to half a day.

At the Destination (in Case of both Transports)

Please contact the local representation of your shipping company after your arrival. After customs clearance has been effected, you just need to pick up your motorcycle and off you go! The approximate time duration comes to half a day. Please contact our correspondent a few days prior to return transport and coordinate the handing over of your vehicle. Upon completion of your vacation, your motorcycle will be handed over. Anything else will be organised by us here in Hamburg or by our partner at the destination.

Customs

Upon departure of the vessel, you will receive a link for the pre-registration at the Icelandic customs.

For a binding information concerning final import of vehicles, please be addressed to the automobile club or the customs authorities at the destination.

Contract and payment

When you are ready to purchase, we will prepare a forwarding contract. Please return with your signature. A first partial billing of transport will be effected close to collection/handing over of your motorcycle, we do not charge any deposit when the contract is concluded!

Transport insurance

As an option, we offer a transport insurance against total loss and transport damage of your motorcycle. The premium amounts to 0.95% of the vehicle value, at least € 95.00. Paint damages and oxidation are excluded, vehicles older than 9 years are insurable against total loss only. Please note that additional luggage stowed in the transport box is uninsurable. We recommend to inform yourself about a traveller´s baggage insurance. In case of damage, it must be visible from outside. Retention comes to € 500.00 per claim.
