(As of January 2009 - subject to change). As a non-German citizen, you may need a visa to enter the USA/Canada.
A frank word between bikers:
We ride between 120 and 540 km per day, depending on the tour, in a charming and beautiful landscape. The approximate daily number of kilometers can be found in the respective daily program. This means that on some days you may have to leave early and arrive late. Motorcycle riding in a unique landscape is absolutely in the foreground so a certain team spirit is the first priority and also a certain adaptation to the group is necessary. If you let yourself in for it, you will surely have the adventure of your life and a lot of fun.
Travel conditions:
The general travel conditions apply. These will be handed over to you by your booking office. If you have not received them, please inform your booking office or the tour operator before booking. They will then be sent to you immediately.

A note on entry (ESTA): The electronic ESTA entry procedure required for the USA has been subject to a fee since 08 September 2010. The fee for this is 21 US$, payment is possible by credit card and Paypal. We recommend doing this here Official ESTA Application Website, U.S. Customs, and Border Protection in German language because there are many rip-off sites on the net. Please apply for this at least 3 - 4 months in advance, because in case of rejection, it takes some time to apply for a visa.

No problem, the delivery is free of charge, only the costs for the gasoline or the battery have to be paid. (2) Emergency Towing Service. You will be on your way along the famous coastal road, Highway 1 or 101, which is part of the Panamericana (the "dream road" and longest road in the world - it goes from Alaska to Tierra del Fuego). You will pass Malibu Beach and visit the famous seaside resort, Santa Barbara. In the afternoon, the tour takes you through the vast farmland of California to Pismo Beach, which is famous among surfers. After a short coffee break there, you will reach the endpoint of today's stage, the small town of San Simeon, in the evening. It is located directly on the Pacific Ocean. The attractions here are the sunsets, as well as the country estate of the newspaper publisher W.R. Hearst, the Hearst Castle, with its more than 160 rooms. Overnight stay in the San Simeon area.

Day 04: Highway 1 - Big Sur - Monterrey - San Francisco, 370 km

You will start in the morning on winding Highway 1 to reach Monterrey via Ragged Point, Lucia, and Big Sur. Before that, coming from Carmel, you will ride a part of 17 Mile Scenic Drive that is allowed for motorcycles (by the way: Clint Eastwood used to be mayor in Carmel). Monterey became famous through the Steinbeck book "The Road of the Oil Sardines". Here you will also spend your extensive lunch break. In the early evening, you will arrive at the endpoint of your today's stage, in San Francisco. You will stop briefly at Point Lobos, where you will have a magnificent view of the Golden Gate Bridge on a clear day. Overnight in San Francisco near Fisherman's Wharf, where you can also spend the evening in a first-class fish restaurant.

Day 05: San Francisco - rest day

Today you have the whole day in San Francisco at your disposal. Why not start a tour with your guide, on foot and with the Cable Car, which includes Union Square, Downtown, Chinatown, the Cable Car Museum and Fisherman's Wharf. At noon there is the possibility to take part in an optional boat trip across the San Francisco Bay. The boat trip takes you past Alcatraz and under the Golden Gate Bridge. After lunch, you can take a bus tour in a double-decker to the Golden Gate Bridge and other highlights, such as Golden Gate Park and Alamo Square. Overnight stay in San Francisco.

TOUR TIP: Double Decker Bus Tour & Bay Cruise

Day 06: Pacific Coast Highway - 2500 curves - dream road of the world, 400 km

In the early morning you leave the city over the Golden Gate Bridge and ride along Muir Woods State Park. In the next two days you will ride another 2500+ curves on this dream road. You will follow the scenic coastal road past Bodega Bay and Mendocino. In the early afternoon you will reach the old Ft. Bragg, named after the former Indian Fort, which also has the nickname "Jewel of the Mendocino Coast". Overnight today in the Garberville area, which is located directly at the south entrance of Humboldt Redwood State Park.

Day 07: Humboldt State Park - Avenue of the Giants - Redwood National Park, 380 km

Today the Panamericana takes you first to Humboldt State Park and through the Avenue of the Giants. These redwood giants grow up to 112 meters high. In Myers Flat you can ride through one or more of these giant sequoias for a small fee. You follow the dream road to Eureka and Humboldt Bay. This was the safe port of departure for gold seekers in the historic California Gold Rush of 1849. Continue through Redwood National Park, home to some of the tallest coastal redwood trees in America. These were so large that some were hollowed out and used to create treehouses. Passing Crescent City, you will then head inland on scenic highway 199 and enter the state of Oregon. Today's stage and overnight destination are in Grants Pass.

Day 08: Wild Oregon - Crater Lake National Park, 340 km

In the morning you will follow the Rogue River valley and ride through the wild and untouched forest landscape of Oregon. Just in time for lunch, you will reach another highlight, the almost circular and 594 m deep Crater Lake in Crater Lake National Park. It is located in the middle of a caldera of volcanic origin. The colors in the crystal clear water are reminiscent of the South Seas. The crater road leads you to interesting stops around this unique natural spectacle. On the way to the coast, you will reach Sutherlin, where you will spend the night.

Day 09: Oregon Sand Dunes - Devils Elbow - Lewis & Clark, 440 km

You follow the picturesque Umpqua River and visit the protected Oregon Sand Dunes in the morning, which can easily compete in height with those in the Sahara. Continue along the amazing rocky coast, past Devils Elbow lighthouse and other unique viewpoints. On the way, you will stop for lunch at the fishing harbor in Newport, where you can enjoy fresh seafood. In the afternoon you will ride through the agricultural region around Tillamook, which is famous for its cheese production. In the early evening, you will reach your overnight destination Astoria on the Columbia River. Your motel is located at a historic lookout point over the Columbia River, which was also chosen by the American adventurers and explorers Lewis & Clark as their night camp. Tonight we invite you to a pizza party to experience the unique sunset with us. Overnight stay in the Seaside/Astoria area.

Day 10: Columbia River - Washington - Oyster Farms - Vampire Hunt in Forks, 310 km

Today is a relaxed day on the tour plan. In the morning you will cross the Columbia River and enter the state of Washington. You will follow the meandering highway - the coastal sections and riding routes are again extremely charming here. South Bend is the oyster region of the state and a great place for a coffee break. Along the Olympic National Park, which is home to a so-called cold rain forest with ferns and plants as if from prehistoric times, you will reach Lake Quinault in the Indian Reservation of the same name after the lunch break. If you are interested, you can visit one of the state salmon farms on the way. In the early afternoon you will reach the small, but now world-famous town of Forks. This small town became world-famous through the first three Twillight Saga movies, based on the books by author Stephenie Meyer. Wherever you look around here, the movies seem to come alive. Overnight stay in the Forks area.

Day 11: Olympic National Park - Sekiu - Port Angeles - Seattle, 290 km

In the morning, the tour continues across the Washington Peninsula to the fishing village of Sekiu. During a coffee break, you can have a look at the salmon and halibut caught there. The lunch break will be spent in the Port Angeles area. Afterward you will visit an Indian cultural center and the village of Poulsbo, which was founded by Scandinavian immigrants in the 19th century. You will then take the ferry to Seattle and, weather permitting, get to see the city skyline and the towering Mount Rainier for the first time. After arrival in the late afternoon you will drop off your motorcycles at our local rental partner and the transfer to the hotel will take place. The overnight stay will be in a hotel near the airport of Seattle/SeaTac.

Day 12 : Seattle City Tour

This morning you will have the opportunity to explore DownTown Seattle. There is the possibility to book an optional tour. You will take the Airport Train to downtown Seattle where you will transfer to one of the open-top double-decker buses. During this tour, you can visit the walking distance Pike Place Market, known for its salmon-throwing fishmongers, the Space Needle, the unique Seattle Aquarium, and the Harley-Davidson® store. Your guide will be on hand to offer advice and assistance. Overnight in Seattle/Sea-Tac.
