One training day, three days of passes

It opens in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, where the training day runs from 9 am to 4 pm on the closed ground and the certified trainer works to DVR guidelines. The second day leads over Allgäu back roads and the Bavarian Alps to the Hahntennjoch and into the Kaunertal, where a further training session is slotted in during the afternoon. The third day belongs to the Stelvio and the Umbrail, around 220 km, with photo and video analysis. The fourth day runs back to the Bavarian side of the Alps via Kühtai, Praxmar and Sölden.

Highlights

Training Day in Garmisch

From 9 am to 4 pm the closed ground is the focus: seating position, steering, eye tracking, weight shifting and riding physics, plus slow-speed work, changes of direction, braking on the straight and in the corner, and emergency stops.

Hahntennjoch and Kaunertal

The first riding day runs over Allgäu back roads and the Bavarian Alps to the Hahntennjoch. In the Kaunertal, arguably the finest dead-end valley in the Alps, a further training session is slotted in during the afternoon.

Stelvio and Umbrail

The third day starts earlier than the others and brings the Stelvio and its hairpins across around 220 km. Over the Umbrail a short detour crosses into Switzerland, where 80 km/h applies and the flow still holds up.

Photo and Video Analysis

Footage of you on the machine, filmed in genuinely twisty country, makes the progress visible. In the review you see side by side what the training day has changed about your line and your technique.

Kühtai, Praxmar and Sölden

The departure day stays a training day: detours over Kühtai, Praxmar and Sölden lead back to the Bavarian side of the Alps where it all began. The group rides on into the late afternoon.
