Vosges Motorcycle: Southern Vosges & Alsace

The Vosges motorcycle tour starts in St. Wendel and takes you through the Northern Vosges to your base hotel in Mulhouse. From there, four days of guided tours on your own motorcycle explore the Southern Vosges: over the Route des Crêtes to the Grand Ballon, along the Alsatian wine route and through the quiet departmental roads of the Southern Vosges loop. A support vehicle carries your luggage so you can concentrate entirely on the passes and curves. In the evenings, Alsatian specialities await at the shared hotel dinner.

Highlights

Grand Ballon Pass Ride

The famous Route des Crêtes motorcycle route takes you over the Grand Ballon, at 1,343 metres the highest peak in the Vosges, and on to the Ballon d'Alsace – panoramic riding on narrow mountain roads with views over Alsace and the Southern Vosges.

Guided Tours from Mulhouse

As a guided Vosges motorcycle tour you set out each day from the central base hotel in Mulhouse on varied loop routes through the Southern Vosges, with no route planning required – a tour guide and support vehicle accompany you at all times.

Alsatian Wine Route

Between Kaysersberg and Riquewihr the route leads through the finest wine villages of Alsace – ideal for a break with a crêpe in a historic old town setting before continuing to the Haut-Kœnigsbourg castle.

Southern Vosges Loop Passes

Southern Vosges motorcycle riding at its best: Col de Hundsruck, Col Amic and Col des Croix line up in a winding loop through the Massif du Ventron, with a stop at the stork farm in Soultz-Haut-Rhin to round off the stage.

Support Vehicle Included

Your luggage travels in the support vehicle while you ride your Vosges motorcycle tour free and easy on the back roads of the Vosges and Alsace, with no heavy bags on your own machine throughout the entire journey.
