Overnight Ferry Crossing
The DFDS Seaways passage replaces long motorway stages across Europe: one night out and one night back in a two-berth interior cabin, half board on board and the machine safely in the hold below.
A Base at Aviemore
Three nights at the Macdonald Aviemore Resort mean day loops without packing the bags again. From here the stages run out to the Moray Firth, along the Malt Whisky Trail and down to the shore of Loch Ness.
The Malt Whisky Trail
Via Dufftown the way climbs north to the coast, then follows the Scottish Coastal Road towards Aberdeen. The loop links distillery country with the North Sea before returning to Aviemore in the evening.
Loch Ness to Fort William
From Inverness the road follows the shore of Loch Ness south to Fort Augustus, then carries on via Fort William and the Queen Elizabeth National Park to the Glasgow area for the last night on land.
Luggage in the Support Van
Your machine runs light: the support vehicle carries up to 15 kilograms of luggage per person. Free motorcycle parking at every hotel and a folder with the route plans are part of it as well.
