Tour schedule:

Day 1: Through the Vosges via the Route des Crêtes and Col de la Gorge to Mulhouse (F) (approx. 350km)

Individual arrival at the starting point near Saarbrücken or the day before to the hotel in advance. From here, we take small side roads through Lorraine and along the Route des Crêtes to the southern Vosges. Dinner and overnight stay in Mulhouse (France). Here the proximity to the old town invites to a small evening walk.

Day 2: From Mulhouse through the Jura to Seeze at the small St. Bernhard (approx. 420 km)

Today the route goes south through the Parc du Doubs, the Jura, via the Col du Chasseral to the Lac de Neuchatel. Over the passes of large and small St. Bernhard we reach our traditional tour rider hotel in Seeze. Dinner and overnight stay in one of the small St. Bernhard in Seeze.

3rd day: Route des Grande Alpes: Col de L'Iseran - Col du Télégraph - Col du Galibier - (approx. 200 km)

We start with a classic, it goes over the Col de L'Iseran with 2.770 m the highest pass of Europe. Then there are other major passes of the "Route des Grande Alpes", such as Col du Télégraph, Col du Galibier, Col du Lautere. Then past the Lac du Chambon and we're almost there. After we have mastered the notorious 22 hairpin bends from the Tour de France, we reach our hotel. This 4**** spa and sports hotel offers us luxurious accommodation for the next few days. From here we start the daily stages in this beautiful alpine region of the nature parks Encrins and Vercors. Dinner and overnight stay in Alpe D'Huez.

4th day: Route des Grande Alpes, Route Napoleon (approx. 330 km)

We continue along the Route des Grande Alpes and ride through the Guisanne Valley to Briançon and on to the Col de Izoard. Passing the Lac de Serre-Ponçon we are now on a not less famous alpine road, the "Route Napoleon". The passes Col Lebraut, Col de Manse and Col Omon bring us back to the 22 hairpin bends up to our base hotel. Dinner and overnight stay in Alpe D'Huez.

Day 5: One day at leisure

Time for your own tour, excursion to Grenoble or a walk through the town of Alpe D'Huez and then use the SPA area in our beautiful sports hotel.... Anyone he wants! Dinner and overnight stay in Alpe D'Huez.

Day 6: Gourmet tour around Alpe d'Huez (approx. 260 km)

Today we stay in the mountains around our hotel. We explore the smallest roads and lakes south of Grenoble, which are a little off the beaten track. For lunch we will have a picnic with baguettes & cheese of the region in the partly untouched nature next to the great views. In the afternoon we return to our hotel in the skiing area of Alpe d'Huez. Dinner and overnight stay in Alpe d'Huez.

Day 7: Passes and gorges in Vercors (approx. 350 km)

The Vercors, a mountain massif in the extreme west of the French Alps, is the host of our tour today. Well-known passes like the Col de Rousset, Col de la Machine or gorges like the Combe Laval, Gorges des Gats, Les Grands Goulets, Gorges de la Bourne and Gorges du Nan are certainly some absolute highlights of the whole trip. Dinner and overnight stay in Alpe d'Huez.

Day 8: Over the Col de la Madeleine towards Lake Geneva (approx. 450 km)

We're leaving our base hotel today. Over the Col de la Madeleine, past the Lac d'Annecy and Lake Geneva, we move towards the Jura again. Some great curves in this low mountain range make our trip entertaining. Our hotel at the Lac de Saint-Point with a small beach awaits us for cooling off. Dinner and overnight stay in Malbuisson.

Day 9: Through the Jura Nature Park to the Alsatian Wine Route (approx. 300 km)

Today we start to the penultimate stage, it goes through the national park "Haute-Jura" towards the southern Vosges. Via the Ballon d'Alcace we descend to the Alsatian Wine Route. The tranquil village of Riquewihr is our destination. We have dinner in a restaurant, which is located behind the city wall in the historical centre of the village. So we still have the opportunity to watch the colourful hustle and bustle of the wine tourists and to enjoy the French way of life. Dinner and overnight stay in Riquewihr.

Day 10: Journey home through the Vosges Mountains to Saarbrücken (approx. 320 km)

After breakfast we have to "say goodbye" again, because we start our journey home. In a group through the Vosges mountains to the Saarbrücken area or individually.
