A frank word among bikers:
We do not take a riding course on our trip, but a demanding and varied motorcycle tour. If you are already experienced in riding a motorcycle, you will get your money's worth on the tour. If you are not sure if your driving skills are sufficient, please contact us. Due to our many years of experience we can give you good advice in this regard.
Furthermore, a good physical and health condition should be a matter of course for participation in the tour. Depending on the tour we leave several hundred kilometres behind us. Riding a motorcycle in a unique landscape is in the foreground, a certain adaptation to the group and team spirit will be necessary to fully enjoy the tour. With the description of the individual travel days you can already prepare yourself for the journey and get to know the routes we have carefully planned.
Language: This offer is usually suitable for English and/or German speaking participants. We will gladly provide binding information upon request.

Tour description:

You start in Moscow with a sightseeing tour on the first day. The tour takes you past vast agricultural regions with large and small farms, you enjoy local homemade food, passing rivers and forests, fields and steppes. In the regions of Voronezh, Rostov-on-Don and Krasnodar you will experience how people live and how they collect food. After a few days of riding you will reach the Caucasus Mountains with beautiful serpentines and finally also the Elbrus, the highest peak in Europe. You will stay in hotels at altitudes of 1,500 - 2,300 metres and take a trip by cable car to 3,800 metres above sea level. The final third part of the tour continues to Volgograd (Stalingrad), where one of the most relentless battles in world history, the Battle of Stalingrad, took place. Here you will get in touch with history and enjoy the Volga, one of the largest rivers in Europe.

Tour schedule:

Day 1: Arrival in Moscow

After the plane has landed safely in Moscow and you have arrived safely at the hotel in the city centre, you will pick up the motorcycles. Before the common dinner you can acclimatize a little. End the day with a short walk through the city.

Day 2: Sightseeing of Moscow

You will spend half the day visiting the city and making small preparations for the tour. You will have the opportunity to change money, buy local SIM cards if needed, pack etc. In the evening there is a dinner together.

Day 3: Moscow - Yelets (440 km)

On the first day you will explore small villages and rural areas. After a few stops and sightseeing, you will arrive in Skornyakovo, an old private estate offering a few rooms for accommodation. Here you can taste the local cuisine and enjoy Russia's true nature.

Day 4: Yelets - Rostov-on-Don (680 km)

Rostov-on-Don is a large city situated on the river Don. After a long ride, you will go to one of the best restaurants in the area to enjoy crabs and beer. Afterwards you can take a short walk through the city.

Day 5: Rostov - Dombay. (600 km)

Also today you will get some more miles under the wheels. You reach the mountains and the fun of the curves begins. You will pass through different regions and will see how varied the landscape of Russia is. Our hotel is located at an altitude of about 1.500 meters in the mountains. After this long day you visit a Russian Banya and enjoy local wine with lamb.

Day 6: Dombay - Elbrus (360 km)

If the weather is good, you will ride to the Dombay summits and then on to Elbrus. On the way there you will stop at a good friend's house in a small village and have lunch there. You will experience how people live and enjoy real homemade food. On arrival at Elbrus you check in at the hotel at 2,300 meters above sea level. This is where you will spend the next two days.

Day 7: Elbrus

An excursion to the Elbrus and several places in the area is on the program. In the evening you have free time.

Day 8: Elbrus - Elista. (500 km)

The tour continues to Elista, the Buddhist region of Russia. The landscape consists mainly of steppes and sometimes even desert regions with almost no vegetation. The local people here live on 90% of horse meat.

Day 9: Elista - Volgograd (290 km)

Short ride to Volgograd, one of the most interesting cities in Russia. In the evening you will visit several places and museums of the Second World War. The following day we continue with a boat tour and a sightseeing tour of the city.

Day 10: Volgograd

Half-day excursion and a boat trip along the Volga. You have the rest of the day at your free disposal. You can relax or take a trip with the team to the public beach.

Day 11: Volgograd - Tambov (530 km)

A kilometre-intensive riding day takes you to the small agricultural town of Tambov. Originally the city was founded in 1636 as part of the fortress belt that was supposed to protect Moscow from the Tartars. Today the old town is a cultural conglomerate that reflects the historical development in a harmonious whole. In the evening there is free time.

Day 12: Tambov - Murom (380 km)

During the last days you will visit several cities of the Golden Ring and learn interesting things about them. Murom with its ancient Kremlin and many other ancient buildings is one of the most exciting cities of the Golden Ring. Here you will spend the night.

Day 13: Murom - Moscow. (370 km)

The last day of your tour takes you back to Moscow, where you will have a farewell dinner together in the evening.

Day 14: Departure from Moscow

Depending on the time of departure, you can use the time to pack your bags or explore Moscow on your own. We hope that you were so enthusiastic about Russia that you will come back one day for another tour and say to you: "Do svidaniya" - Goodbye - in Russia.
