|On this tour, the tour guide drives the luggage vehicle, he does not drive ahead of the group. It shows you the daily stage in detail, gives tips on route planning and hints on places of interest. You will receive detailed maps and a driver's logbook to get from A to B in small groups. So everyone can arrange their day according to their own (driving) wishes.|
|Those travelling alone can book a ½ double room. In this case, the room will be shared with another participant (of the same sex), provided there is a corresponding booking. In this case, the DC surcharge is not applicable.|

On this motorbike tour through New Zealand you will experience the vibrant Auckland and the enchanting islands of the Bay of Islands before you enjoy the winding coastal road of the Coromandel Peninsula. In Rotorua and Taupo you can admire hot springs and hissing geysers. You will also experience a Maori cultural evening and have time to visit the volcanic region in Tongariro National Park. The capital Wellington is the starting point to the South Island, where the golden sandy beaches of the Abel Tasman National Park await. Spectacular is the track along the west coast, curve after curve, the rough Tasman Lakes on one side and deep green rainforest on the other. Between the glacier region and the adventure world in Queenstown you pass the Haast Pass. The Milford Sound can be experienced intensively on a boat tour, the dead end into the sound is breathtaking enough to be ridden twice! Over the desert-like Lindis Pass you reach the bright blue lakes Pukaki and Tekapo, the Mt. Cook massif in the background. After 19 impressive days the tour ends in the "Garden City" Christchurch.
Day 1: Departure from Germany / Austria / Switzerland.
Day 2: Flight day due to time difference.
Day 3: Arrival in Auckland.
Transfer to the hotel, settling in, dinner together in the evening.
Day 4: Auckland - Paihia, 250 km
After taking over the motorcycles the east coast northwards to the Bay of Islands.
Day 5: Free day in Paihia (km of your choice)
In the idyllic Bay of Islands a boat trip or a motorcycle tour to Cape Reinga & the 90-Mile Beach is worthwhile.
Day 6: Paihia - Orewa, 350 km
The west coast southwards through the Kauri Forest, visit the Tane Mahuta.
Day 7: Orewa - Coromandel, 350 km
Curving along the coast to the very original Coromandel Peninsula.
Day 8: Coromandel - Taupo, 300 km
On the way inland stop in Rotorua and visit the Te Puia Thermal Area (geysers etc.). On to Taupo, in the evening visit a Maori cultural event.
Day 9: Free day in Taupo (km of your choice)
Visit the volcanic region around Tongariro National Park, take a boat trip or enjoy the lake.
Day 10: Taupo - Napier, 160 km
Ride to the east coast, visit the art-deco city of Napier in the Hawkes Bay wine region
Day 11: Napier - Wellington, 300 km
The capital Wellington awaits you! A visit to the Te Papa National Museum or Mt. Victoria is worthwhile.
Day 12: Wellington - Abel Tasman, 180 km plus ferry crossing
Ferry crossing to the South Island, spectacular ride along the winding Queen Charlotte Ride / Marlborough Sound to Abel Tasman National Park.
Day 13: Free day at Abel Tasman
Endless sandy beaches, kayak tours or hikes in the N.P. are available - or a winding tour to Takaka.
Day 14: Abel Tasman - Punakaiki, 290 km
Through Buller Gorge to Westport, then along the fascinating west coast to Punakaiki. Visit of the Pancake Rocks.
Day 15: Punakaiki - Fox Glacier, 270 km
You follow the impressive West Coast up to the glacier region. If necessary a side trip to the mirror lake Lake Matheson.
Day 16: Fox Glacier - Wanaka, 300 km
Varied ride over the Haast Pass to Lake Wanaka.
Day 17: Wanaka - Te Anau, 290 km
Over the Cardrona Valley to Queenstown. Winding along Lake Wakatipu to Te Anau, starting point to Milford Sound.
Day 18: Te Anau - Milford Sound, 250 km
Impressive ride through the Fiordland National Park & boat tour through the sound.
Day 19: Te Anau - Queenstown, 180 km

Day 20: Free day in Queenstown

Day 21: Queenstown - Tekapo, 290 km
