Tour description:

The tour begins in the metropolis of Cape Town, first making a detour along the coast eastwards, to the Cape of Good Hope, via the dream road Chapmans Peak and the deep green wine region around Stellenbosch. The landscape of the next few days, when we head north on the west side, is in contrast to the Cederberg Mountains and the dry, wide Namaqualand. With the border crossing to Namibia another world opens up, the endless expanses of the Namib Desert, the wild horses at Aus and the tranquil coastal town of Swakopmund make every day exciting and varied. The roads are more and more often solid sand and pushed gravel roads. We visit the UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site Sossusvlei, the mighty inselberg Spitzkoppe Mountain, experience Namibia's exciting wildlife during a day safari through Ethosa National Park before the journey ends in Windhoek.
