This is a motorcycle tourist sport event of the "Adventouring" type. It takes place in 4 or 7 stages, riding through enchanting places and breathtaking scenery between sea and mountains, starting from Milan.

More details

70%* route on dirt roads and 30%* on scenic tarmac roads. Can also be ridden with a passenger if experienced off-road rider. * The percentages are calculated in time and not in distance.
On/Off motorcycles, enduro v, scooters, vintage motorbikes (vintage registered before 31/12/1999), weighing more than 150 kg. Minimum weight not applicable to vintage bikes and female riders. Tires with tread blocks or suitable for off-road use are required.
IMPORTANT: The Sardegna Gran Tour is an official Italian Motorcycle Federation (FMI) event. It is mandatory for riders and pillion passengers to have an FMI membership card for the current year. During the event, participants are also insured by the FMI. Riders need also a valid licence for the registered motorcycle.
For all categories it is required to have a navigator or mobile phone with GPX tracker software installed on the bike.
Start: Milan / Italy
End: Livorno / Italy (following morning)
Language: This offer is usually suitable for English and/or German speaking participants. We will gladly provide binding information upon request.
Mobility: The offer is not suitable for people with reduced mobility. Please contact us for more information.

The route will be on scenic roads suitable for both large twin-cylinder and single-cylinder motorcycles weighing over 150 kg, which will pass through the places of greatest scenic, historical and cultural interest of the Italy's richest region of national parks. Particular attention was given to the wine and food aspect of the event. The routes will be indicated by GPS tracks.

This is a self-guided tour without a tour guide. Routes data for GPS will be provided to all participants in advance. Every participant is navigating the route on his own but joining each other is of course possible. Participants will anyway meet at the stops along the route for refreshments and meals. The stops are included in the GPS routes data.

Along the route there will be medical assistance (with motorbikes and medical car) and recovery of pilots and vehicles in trouble (transport of motorbikes to the arrival of the stage).

- Evening: Embarkation for Sardinia (Olbia)

Day 2: Sunday, 30th May

- 2nd stage: Olbia - Arborea (approx. 320 km)

Day 3, Monday, 31st May

- 3rd stage: Arborea - Arborea (approx. 220 km)

Day 4, Tuesday, 1st June

- 4th stage: Arborea - Olbia (approx. 300 km)

- Evening: Boarding ferry from Olbia to Livorno. Arrival in Livorno the following morning.
