(As of January 2009 - subject to change). As a non-German citizen, you may need a visa to enter the USA/Canada.
A frank word between bikers:
We ride between 120 and 540 km per day, depending on the tour, in a charming and beautiful landscape. The approximate daily number of kilometers can be found in the respective daily program. This means that on some days you may have to leave early and arrive late. Motorcycle riding in a unique landscape is absolutely in the foreground so a certain team spirit is the first priority and also a certain adaptation to the group is necessary. If you let yourself in for it, you will surely have the adventure of your life and a lot of fun.
Travel conditions:
The general travel conditions apply. These will be handed over to you by your booking office. If you have not received them, please inform your booking office or the tour operator before booking. They will then be sent to you immediately.
Distance: 3000 km
Minimum age: 18+
A note on entry (ESTA): The electronic ESTA entry procedure required for the USA has been subject to a fee since 08 September 2010. The fee for this is 14 US$, payment is possible by credit card and Paypal. We recommend doing this here Official ESTA Application Website, U.S. Customs, and Border Protection in German language because there are many rip-off sites on the net. Please apply for this at least 3 - 4 months in advance, because in case of rejection, it takes some time to apply for a visa.
Road Side Towing Assistance (can be added, please request) included: (1 ) Emergency Road Side Assistance. E.g. out of gas? Forgot to turn off the ignition, battery dead? No problem, the delivery is free of charge, only the costs for the gasoline or the battery have to be paid. (2) Emergency Towing Service. The bike breaks down with a self-inflicted (not covered by warranty) mechanical problem, e.g. diesel tanked, tire punctured, or accident? The bike will be picked up free of charge by a towing service and taken to the nearest garage or rental station that can take care of the problem.

This morning you have the opportunity to explore DownTown Seattle. There is the possibility to book an optional tour. You will take the airport train to downtown Seattle where you will transfer to one of the open-top double-decker buses. During this tour, you can visit the Pike Place Market, which is within walking distance and famous for its salmon-throwing fishmongers, the Space Needle, the unique Seattle Aquarium, and the Harley-Davidson® store. Your guide will be on hand to offer advice and assistance. In the afternoon, the tour briefing will take place and you will be transferred to the rental station, where you will pick up your motorbikes. After a short briefing, you will return to your hotel and have dinner together. Overnight stay in Seattle/SeaTac.

OUR TIP: City Tour Seattle

Day 03: Port Angeles - Olympic National Park - Sekiu - Vampire Hunting, 290 km

In the morning you will leave Seattle to start your tour through Washington State. All the luggage you need for the tour will be loaded into the support vehicle. You will then be on your way along the famous coastal road, Highway 1 or 101, which is part of the Panamericana (the "dream road" and longest road in the world - it goes from Alaska to Tierra del Fuego). You will cross over to the Washington Peninsula by a car ferry. Enjoy this mini-cruise and the view of DownTown Seattle. In the morning you will visit Poulsbo, a town founded by Scandinavian immigrants in the 19th century. A visit to a Native American cultural center is on the agenda before you spend your lunch break in the Port Angeles area. In the afternoon, you will visit Sekiu, a well-known fishing village. During a coffee break there, with a little luck, you will be able to see the salmon and halibut caught there. In the afternoon you will reach the small, but now the world-famous town of Forks. This small town became world-famous through the first three Twilight Saga movies, based on the books by author Stephenie Meyer. Wherever you look around here, the movies seem to come alive. Overnight stay in the Forks area.

Day 04: Wild Washington Coast - Oyster Farms - Columbia River - Lewis & Clark, 310 km

Today is a relaxed day on the tour plan. The morning will take you through the Olympic National Park, which is home to a so-called cold rainforest with ferns and plants as if from prehistoric times. You will visit Lake Quinault in the Indian Reservation of the same name. If you are interested, you can also visit one of the salmon farms. South Bend is the oyster region of the state and a great place to stop for lunch. In the afternoon you will follow the meandering highway - the coastal sections and rideing routes here are extremely scenic. In the afternoon you will reach your overnight region near the Columbia River, which is also the border of the state of Oregon. The town of Astoria is located at a historic lookout point above the Columbia River, which was also chosen by the American adventurers and explorers Lewis & Clark as their camp for the night. Overnight stay in the Astoria/Seaside area.

Day 05: Newport - Devils Elbow - Oregon Sand Dunes, 440 km

Today will be a bit longer: You will follow the Panamericana again and ride through the agricultural region around Tillamook, which is known for its cheese production. On the way you will make your lunch stop directly at the fishing port in Newport, where you will have fresh "seafood". In the afternoon you will ride along the amazing rocky coastline, passing the Devils Elbow lighthouse and other unique viewpoints. The protected Oregon Sand Dunes, which can easily compete in height with those in the Sahara, are also on your way. Along the picturesque Umpqua River Valley you will reach Sutherlin in the evening, where you will also spend the night.

Day 06: Wild Oregon - Crater Lake Natl. Park, 340 km

In the morning you will follow another scenic road that leads you through the wild and untouched forest landscape of Oregon. Just in time for lunch you will reach another highlight, the almost circular and 594 m deep Crater Lake in Crater Lake National Park. It is located in the middle of a caldera of volcanic origin. The colors in the crystal clear water are reminiscent of the South Seas. The crater road leads you with interesting stops around this unique natural spectacle. In the afternoon you will follow the Rogue River valley and reach your stage and overnight destination in Grants Pass.

Day 07: Redwood National Park - Avenue of the Giants - Humboldt State Park, 380 km

Passing Crescent City you will ride back to the coast on the scenic road 199 and reach the state of California. The Panamericana will take you first to the Redwood National Park, where some of the tallest coastal Redwood trees in America can be found. These were so large that some were hollowed out and used to make tree houses. You will follow the Dream Road to Eureka and Humboldt Bay. This was the safe haven of departure for prospectors in the historic California Gold Rush of 1849. In the afternoon, you'll ride through Humboldt State Park and through the Avenue of the Giants. These redwood giants grow up to 112 meters tall. One feels really small here... In Myers Flat you have the opportunity to ride through one or more of these giant sequoias for a small fee. Overnight stay will be in the Garberville area, which is located directly at the southern end of the Humboldt Redwood State Park.

Day 08: Pacific Coast Highway - 2500 curves - dream road of the world, 400 km

Early in the morning you will leave Garberville to ride the remaining 2500+ curves that were and are on this dream road yesterday and today. In the morning you will reach the old Ft. Bragg, named after the former Indian Fort, which also has the nickname "Jewel of the Mendocino Coast". After lunch you will follow the scenic coastal road past the famous town of Mendocino and Bodega Bay. Along Muir Woods State Park you will reach the town of Sausalito, known for its houseboat colony. You will stop at a viewpoint, where you will have a great view of the Golden Gate Bridge and the lively San Francisco. You will spend the night in San Francisco near Fisherman's Wharf, where you can also spend the evening in a first-class fish restaurant.

Day 09: San Francisco - rest day

Today you have the whole day in San Francisco at your disposal. Why not start a tour with your guide, on foot, and with the Cable Car, which includes Union Square, Downtown, Chinatown, the Cable Car Museum, and Fisherman's Wharf. At noon there is the possibility to take part in an optional boat trip across the San Francisco Bay. This takes you past Alcatraz and under the Golden Gate Bridge. After the lunch break, you can take a bus tour in a double-decker to the Golden Gate Bridge and other highlights like the Golden Gate Park and the Alamo Square. Overnight stay in San Francisco.

TIP: City tour in a double-decker bus & Bay cruise

Day 10: Highway 1 - Monterey - Big Sur - San Simeon, 370 km

You start in the morning with a breakfast at Point Lobos before heading south again on the winding Highway 1. The next highlight is the town of Monterey, which became famous through the Steinbeck book "The Road of the Oil Sardines". Here you will also spend your extensive lunch break. In the afternoon you will ride a part of the 17 Mile Scenic Drive to Carmel (by the way: Clint Eastwood was once mayor in Carmel). The next stops are Bixby Bridge, Big Sur, Lucia, and Ragged Point. After a short coffee break there, you will visit the elephant seal colony and in the evening you will reach the endpoint of today's stage, the small town of San Simeon. It is located directly on the Pacific Ocean. The attractions here are the sunsets and the country estate of the newspaper publisher W.R. Hearst, the Hearst Castle, with its more than 160 rooms. Overnight stay in the San Simeon area.

Day 11: Highway 1 - Pismo Beach - Solvang - Santa Barbara - Malibu, 400 km

The first stop this morning is Pismo Beach, famous among surfers, with its long sandy beaches and pier. The tour will now take you through the vast farmland of California. In the afternoon you will return to the coast and visit the famous seaside resort of Santa Barbara, before passing Malibu Beach and heading towards Los Angeles. After arrival in the late afternoon you will drop off your motorcycles at our local rental partner and the transfer to the hotel will take place. The overnight stay will be in a hotel near the airport in Los Angeles.

Day 12: Los Angeles

Today you have the day at your disposal. In the morning you have the option to take part in a private, guided city tour with a local guide (optional, booking in advance required). You will be picked up from the hotel by bus and start your city tour, which includes Venice Beach, Santa Monica, Beverly Hills, Downtown L.A., and Hollywood. Overnight stay in Los Angeles. During dinner, you can review the tour again before it's time to say goodbye.

TIP: City tour of Los Angeles
