There are different varieties of breakfast. Some hotels offer coffee and some kind of rolls, toast or a piece of cake, plus maybe some jam. If one is lucky, there is some fruit or dairy products. Some accommodations only offer coffee with a coffee maker in the room. Other hotels offer a varied breakfast. Many hotels decide in the middle of the season to launch this service, to abolish it or even to change it. There is generally everywhere a possibility to buy breakfast for little money. We write in the services "Partial breakfast", because we can not guarantee which hotel all of a sudden decides for it or against it).

Motorcycles on this tour:
Please note: Not all types are available at all motorcycle stations. As we are not the direct service provider for the motorcycles, we cannot guarantee for the "first motorcycle wish".
So that everything is clear in advance: Our partner requires the specification of a substitute desired machine mandatory at the time of booking and gives us a MOTORCYCLE CLASS GUARANTEE. This means that we will confirm your initial request (if available on the day of booking) and as an alternative a guarantee within the booked / requested category.
Class mix in booking is not allowed.
OPTIONAL MOTORCYCLE MODEL GUARANTEE: If the desired model is available, our partner will confirm the booking for the desired model, however, he reserves the right to offer an alternative model from the same category, if your desired model is not available. This can happen, for example, if the previous renter returned the motorcycle with damage. If choosing a specific model is very important to you, then this model will be guaranteed to you for an extra charge of 125 EUR per rental.
In the unlikely event that this service does not work out on the spot, you will get a motorcycle from the same category and the fee will immediately be refunded to you.

An honest word among bikers:
With the next lines we would like to prepare you in the best way for the adventure of your life. You are either about to book one of the most beautiful types of travel, or you have already done so. The biggest difference between our type of holiday and a general package tour is that you are actively involved. Riding a motorcycle is one of the best things in life. At least for us bikers. The focus of the trip is motorcycling through unique landscapes. We have designed the programs in such a way that both riding fun and experience are present in sufficient quantity. Team spirit and adaptation in the group are absolutely necessary just as you need to bring a certain basic fitness and experience so that we can reach the destination together happy and healthy. If you have any doubts about your health, fitness or experience levels, please contact us beforehand. We want to achieve the best holiday experience for you too. The daily stages are on average 250 - 400 kilometers long. That sounds a lot, but it can't be compared to the same route in Europe, considering that there are often 80 kilometers without passing through a town and a whole day without traffic lights during the program. There are also hardly any traffic jams. We are rarely in the saddle for more than five hours throughout the day. We reach our daily destination between 4 - 6 p.m., depending on the season. Depending on the weather and daily temperatures, it can happen that we have to leave a little earlier or reach our daily destination later. However, if we want to experience a picture book sunset with full intention, it will be a little later.
-
Insurance:
We generally recommend that you obtain a travel cancellation insurance.
-
Upon request:
1/2 double rooms can be booked upon request. If a 1/2 double room is already available, we will confirm t to you in your booking. If the 1/2 double room is not available at that very moment, then we will confirm a single room first. As soon as we have a booking for the second half of the room, we will immediately credit you the single room surcharge.

Important info about "The American Dream" tour:
The "American Dream" tour consists of three parts.
The first part is the "Silver & Golden State" tour. Here, guests will depart together with guests from "The American Dream" group. Eight days later, as the group approaches Laughlin, guests are guided back to Las Vegas by a second team based in Las Vegas for motorcycle return and return flight or individual extension.
The second part is the "Best of Wild West" group. Our Las Vegas team welcomes the guests of this tour on the second Sunday of the "American Dream" tour. On the next day the pickup of the motorcycles takes place as well as the scheduled ride to the meeting point with the rest of the group (The American Dream) outside Laughlin.
The third and longest part with a total of 20 days is "The American Dream" group.
This allows us to manage the contingents in the best possible way and thus make it possible to carry out the tours almost 100%.
Smaller groups on request are also possible. Simply send us your request, and not only concerning this issue. Send your questions before booking, before the start of the trip or during the tours. So far, no question has remained without an answer. By sending your questions we can adjust ourselves individually to your needs.
For an additional charge, an extension of several days is possible. If you are considering something like this, please contact us.
-
ESTA information:
German travelers need the approved ESTA to enter the country.
-
Entry requirements:
Please pay attention to the entry regulations in the USA.
-
Important to know about the HD® Tri-Glide® Ultra/Polaris® Slingshot®
You are also welcome to book an HD® Tri-Glide® Ultra/HD® Freewheeler™ for this tour. The procurement of the machines of this type are basically bookable on request. We recommend that you book as early as possible, as these types of motorcycles are not available in abundance and will be transported there especially for you. To rent a HD® Tri-Glide® Ultra/HD® Freewheeler™ for this tour, you absolutely need to have experience riding such a motorcycle. Alternatively, you can book a Polaris® Slingshot®, which is much safer to operate than the trike. The extra charge for an HD® Tri-Glide® Ultra/HD® Freewheeler™ on this tour is 2400 EUR. For the HD® Tri-Glide® Ultra/HD® Freewheeler™/Polaris® Slingshot® the insurance can only be booked as LDW (without Zero). The deductible for damage is 2000 USD and for theft 5000 USD. However, this is regulated by our additional insurance with Allianz in case of damage.

Description

The American Dream is one of the best motorcycle tours in North America. Every day is organized separately and, on the way, each experience chases the next.

Let us guide you through a country of superlatives and contrasts: Mountain ranges, lakes, barren deserts, legendary roads, the Pacific coast, famous natural wonders, national parks, Indian culture, Western romanticism, and the glittering world of the big cities constantly alternate.

Las Vegas, San Francisco, Highway 1, historic Route 66, the Grand Canyon N.P., Monument Valley as well as Bryce Canyon, and Yosemite N.P. are only a small part of the seemingly endless sights along the way.

It doesn't matter at all whether you're single or a couple trying to take part in a dream - it will remain an unforgettable dream. This is a promise.

This tour can be booked with Harley-Davidson® as well as BMW® motorcycles (extra charge).

Tour itinerary:

Day 01: Germany - Las Vegas

You fly with a renowned airline from Frankfurt to Las Vegas (transfer possible). Here, the entry and customs formalities take place. After arrival, we will have you transferred to the very well-located hotel near the legendary "Las Vegas Strip". After the "Welcome drink" the rest of the evening is at your free disposal. Overnight stay in Las Vegas.

Day 02: Las Vegas - Motorcycle pick-up - Las Vegas Blv. (The Strip), 20 km

The morning is free for your own explorations. In the early afternoon, we get together for an info meeting incl. tour briefing. Afterward, we take over the motorcycles and ride a short piece in Las Vegas to get used to the tour. Tour length approx. 20 km

Day 03: Las Vegas - Westgard Pass - Paysson Canyon - Bishop, 440 km

The adventure begins and we thunder with our machines through the golden west of the USA. Our route leads us first along Interstate 95 North in the direction of California. We cross the Westgard Pass and the Paysson Canyon and follow the old roads westwards. Today's stage ends in the hospitable town of Bishop. Tour length approx. 440 km.

Day 04: Bishop - Tioga Pass - Yosemite N.P. - Mariposa, 305 km

After breakfast we head north past Mammoth Lakes and after a stop at the Mono Lake Visitor Center we ride over Tioga Pass (9945 ft) to Yosemite Village. We will spend the night in the beautiful village of Mariposa a little further from the exit of the National Park. Tour length approx. 305 km.

Day 05: Mariposa - San Francisco, 280 km

Today we leave the green and mountainous region of the Sierra Nevada and head southwest. We cross forests, curves, and lakes until we reach the typical Californian flat landscape. In the afternoon we reach the lively region of San Francisco Bay and cross the famous Oakland Bridge. Our accommodation is in a top location directly at the famous "Fisherman's Warf" of San Francisco. After a short briefing with lots of "San Francisco tips", the evening is at your leisure. Tour length approx. 280 km.

Day 06: Free day in San Francisco (don't call it Frisco)

Today there is enough time to get to know this famous city. Of course there will be city tips from the tour guides again. The best way to experience all the attractions of San Francisco is to book a "Hop on - Hop off" tour. This is the best way to explore the city, costs little money and is highly recommended.

Tips (all optional):

- Visit Alcatraz in combination with a very informative Hop-On-Hop-Off tour.

- The Hop-On Hop-Off Tour without Alcatraz.

- Ride the Cable Car

- Go-Car Tour

Day 07: San Francisco - Highway #1 - San Simeon, 360 km

We leave San Francisco first thing in the morning. Today we have a dream route ahead of us. Already the ride on Highway 280 is a pleasure. After leaving the highway in the direction of Monterey, we pass Carmel (where Clint Eastwood was mayor) and arrive directly on the world-famous Highway #1. The approx. 85 miles around the Big Sur will force us to take several photo breaks - but we won't miss out on the fun of the curves either! In the late afternoon, we reach our overnight destination. The well-known holiday town of San Simeon on the west coast. Tour length approx. 360 km.

Day 08: San Simeon - Paso Robles - Bakersfield - Barstow, 440 km

Today's route takes us through the beautiful wine region of California through Paso Robles, past everlasting almond orchards and oil drilling fields around Lost Hils and Wasco. We touch Bakersfield and head east through the Greenhorn Mountains to the Mojave Desert. The final destination of the day is the university town and US military base of Barstow. Tour length approx. 440 km.

Day 09: Barstow - Amboy - Route 66 - Laughlin, 295 km

Today, besides boundless riding fun, we experience the historic Route 66! The route takes us past famous spots like Ludlow, Amboy with its crater as well as the famous Route 66 stops Bagdad and Rob Roys Café. Here you will take beautiful Route 66 pictures. The day's destination is Laughlin, which lies directly on the Colorado River that we will reach in the early afternoon. Tour length approx. 295 km.

Day 10: Laughlin - Oatman - Kingmann - Seligman - Williams, 305 km

This day is also completely dedicated to the old Route 66, which we will cruise to Williams. On the way, we pass through Oatman, Kingman, Peach Springs, Huckberry, and Seligman. In the afternoon we reach the destination of today's stage - Williams, the last place of this tour on the historic Route 66. Here the "Western Feeling" awaits us in the evening with great bars, live music, and restaurants. Tour length approx. 305 km.

Day 11: Williams - Grand Canyon - Cameron, 230 km

This day is dedicated to "marveling" and discovering the world-famous Grand Canyon. If you wish, you can take a helicopter ride in the morning (optional). The road leads along the South Rim and offers all the highlights of this fascinating natural wonder. In the afternoon we reach our destination of the day, Cameron or Tuba City, where we also stay overnight. Tour length approx. 185 - 230 km.

Day 12: Cameron - Page, 135 km

The route today is short, but the experiences are enormous. We ride through the Painted Desert and our destination is Page. First thing after arriving in Page we visit the Horseshoe Bend (a short hike with a WOW effect). After the "Texas Style" lunch we recommend the excursion to Lake Powell National Park (optional). Later in the afternoon you also have the optional opportunity to take a helicopter ride landing atop the famous Tower Butte for a breathtaking 360-degree panoramic view of Glen Canyon, Lake Powell, the Kaiparowitz Plateau, the Grand Staircase, and the Vermillion Cliffs. This is still an experience in a class of its own. Tour length approx. 135 km.

Day 13: Page - Monument Valley - Mexican Hat - Bluff, 295 km

In the morning we recommend taking the excursion with our Navajo guides to the fascinating Antelope Canyon (optional). Today's main destination is the world-famous Monument Valley. Who does not know it - the ultimate Wild West nature scenery, - the Monument Valley with its enormous rock towers from the commercials. Here we take a jeep tour (optional) through the valley, where we will take endless pictures at various stops. Another dream becomes reality. We then continue to San Juan past Mexican Hat and our final destination for today is the sleepy western town of Bluff. Overnight stay in the San Juan/Bluff area. Tour length approx. 295 km.

Day 14: San Juan/Bluff - Capitol Reef N.P. - Torrey (345 km)

Day 17: Mesquite - Las Vegas (170 km)

We leave Mesquite in a southerly direction and ride a beautiful route, along Lake Mead, back to Las Vegas, where we return our motorcycles and transfer to the hotel. (2 nights Las Vegas). Tour length approx. 170 kilometers.

Day 18: Las Vegas

This day in Las Vegas is at your free disposal. Here you have the opportunity to book a German-speaking tour to the Hoover Dam, go shopping in one of the Las Vegas Premium Outlets, visit a show, a sightseeing flight, or "shoot" a few bullets in a great shooting range.
