Breakfast - if offered by the hotels (A frank word about breakfast in the USA: We would like to point out that breakfast as an included service in American or Canadian hotels is not a matter of course. There are different varieties of breakfast. Some hotels offer coffee and some kind of rolls, toast or a piece of cake, plus maybe some jam. If one is lucky, there is some fruit or dairy products. Some accommodations only offer coffee with a coffee maker in the room. Other hotels offer a varied breakfast. Many hotels decide in the middle of the season to launch this service, to abolish it or even to change it. There is generally everywhere a possibility to buy breakfast for little money. We write in the services "Partial breakfast", because we can not guarantee which hotel all of a sudden decides for it or against it).

Motorcycles on this tour:
Please note: Not all types are available at all motorcycle stations. As we are not the direct service provider for the motorcycles, we cannot guarantee for the "first motorcycle wish".
So that everything is clear in advance: Our partner requires the specification of a substitute desired machine mandatory at the time of booking and gives us a MOTORCYCLE CLASS GUARANTEE. This means that we will confirm your initial request (if available on the day of booking) and as an alternative a guarantee within the booked / requested category.
Class mix in booking is not allowed.
OPTIONAL MOTORCYCLE MODEL GUARANTEE: If the desired model is available, our partner will confirm the booking for the desired model, however, he reserves the right to offer an alternative model from the same category, if your desired model is not available. This can happen, for example, if the previous renter returned the motorcycle with damage. If choosing a specific model is very important to you, then this model will be guaranteed to you for an extra charge of 125 EUR per rental.
In the unlikely event that this service does not work out on the spot, you will get a motorcycle from the same category and the fee will immediately be refunded to you.

An honest word among bikers:
With the next lines we would like to prepare you in the best way for the adventure of your life. You are either about to book one of the most beautiful types of travel, or you have already done so. The biggest difference between our type of holiday and a general package tour is that you are actively involved. Riding a motorcycle is one of the best things in life. At least for us bikers. The focus of the trip is motorcycling through unique landscapes. We have designed the programs in such a way that both riding fun and experience are present in sufficient quantity. Team spirit and adaptation in the group are absolutely necessary just as you need to bring a certain basic fitness and experience so that we can reach the destination together happy and healthy. If you have any doubts about your health, fitness or experience levels, please contact us beforehand. We want to achieve the best holiday experience for you too. The daily stages are on average 250 - 400 kilometers long. That sounds a lot, but it can't be compared to the same route in Europe, considering that there are often 80 kilometers without passing through a town and a whole day without traffic lights during the program. There are also hardly any traffic jams. We are rarely in the saddle for more than five hours throughout the day. We reach our daily destination between 4 - 6 p.m., depending on the season. Depending on the weather and daily temperatures, it can happen that we have to leave a little earlier or reach our daily destination later. However, if we want to experience a picture book sunset with full intention, it will be a little later.
-
Insurance:
We generally recommend that you take out travel cancellation insurance.
-
Upon request:
1/2 double rooms can be booked upon request. If a 1/2 double room is already available, we will confirm t to you in your booking. If the 1/2 double room is not available at that very moment, then we will confirm a single room first. As soon as we have a booking for the second half of the room, we will immediately credit you the single room surcharge.
-
Important info about the "Silver & Golden State" tour:
The "Silver & Golden State" tour is the first part of "The American Dream" tour. Here, guests will start together with the guests of "The American Dream" group. Eight days later, as the group approaches Lauglin, guests are escorted back to Las Vegas by a second team based in Las Vegas for motorcycle drop-off and return flight or individual extension.
This allows us to manage the groups in the best possible way and thus to carry out the tours.
For an additional charge, an extension of several days is possible. Here too, the motto is: it doesn't cost anything to ask!
-
Information on ESTA:
The pre-pandemic rules for entry with ESTA have not changed. German travelers still need an approved ESTA application for entry into the USA.
For travelers entering the USA, a registration via the electronic ESTA system has been mandatory since 20.01.2010. Officials at the immigration counters can refuse entry to the USA to passengers without the ESTA authorization. It is recommended that travelers apply for the entry authorization via the ESTA website https://esta.cbp.dhs.gov/esta at least 72 hours prior to departure. The ESTA fee amounts to $21 per application. The ESTA authorization must be applied for online no later than 72 hours prior to travel. The ESTA authorization does not constitute a visa, visa-required travelers do not need an ESTA authorization, but a visa.

You can book this tour on Harley-Davidson® as well as on BMW® (extra charge) motorcycles.

Tour schedule:

Day 01: Germany - Las Vegas

You fly with Condor on a non-stop flight from Frankfurt to Las Vegas. Here the entry and customs formalities take place. Overnight stay in Las Vegas.

Day 02 : Las Vegas - Motorcycle Pickup - Las Vegas Blv. (The Strip), 20 km

Day 03 : Las Vegas - Westgard Pass - Paysson Canyon - Bishop, 440 km

The adventure begins and we thunder with our machines through the golden west of the USA. Our route leads us first along the Interstate 95 North in the direction of California. We cross the Westgard Pass and the Paysson Canyon and follow the old roads westwards. Today's stage ends in the hospitable town of Bishop. Tour length approx. 440 kilometers.

Day 04: Bishop -Tioga Pass - Yosemite N.P. - Sonora, 355 km

After breakfast we head north past Mammoth Lakes and after a stop at the Mono Lake Visitor Center we ride over Tioga Pass (9945 ft) to Yosemite Village. We will spend the night a bit further from the exit of the national park in the beautiful village of Sonora. Tour length approx. 355 km.

Day 05: Sonora - San Francisco, 280 km

Today we leave the green and mountainous region of the Sierra Nevada towards the southwest. We cross forests, curves and lakes until we reach the typical Californian flat landscape. Afterwards we enjoy the skyline of San Francisco and take great pictures of it before we ride through the world famous Golden Gate Bridge with our machines. Our accommodation is in a top location directly at the famous "Fisherman's Warf" of San Francisco. After a short briefing with lots of "San Francisco tips", the evening is at your free disposal. Tour length approx. 280 km.

Our tip: book a sunset catamaran ride around Alcatraz and under the Golden Gate Bridge (optional).

Day 06: San Francisco

Today there is enough time to get to know this famous city at its best. Of course there will be city tips from the tour guides again. The best way to experience all the attractions of San Francisco is to book a "Hop on - Hop off" tour. This is the best way to explore the city, costs little money and is highly recommended.

Tips (all optional):

- Visit Alcatraz in combination with a very informative Hop-On-Hop-Off tour.

- The Hop-On Hop-Off Tour without Alcatraz.

- Ride the Cable Car

- Go-Car Tour

Day 07: San Francisco - Highway #1 - San Simeon, 360 km

We leave San Francisco first thing in the morning. Today we have a dream route ahead of us. Already the ride on Highway 280 is a pleasure. After leaving the highway in the direction of Monterey, we pass Carmel (where Clint Eastwood was mayor) and arrive directly on the world-famous Highway #1. The approx. 85 miles around the Big Sur will force us to take several photo breaks - but we won't miss out on the fun of the curves either! In the late afternoon we reach our overnight destination. The well-known holiday town of San Simeon on the west coast. Tour length approx. 360 kilometres.

Day 08: San Simeon - Paso Robles - Wasco - Bakersfield - Barstow, 440 km
