With an average of 320 kilometers and 4 - 6 riding hours on the motorcycle per day, we are very flexible. There are enough opportunities for stops in between. Depending on the wishes of the participants, there is also the possibility to ride a few kilometers off the paved roads. Offroad.

From Pretoria, we head to the Lowfeld, where we stay overnight in Mbombela (Nelspruit), Mpumalanga. After a first night near the Kruger National Park, we ride to eSwatini. From the Kingdom, we move toward the coast. St. Lucia in iSimangaliso Wetlands Park is a place in South Africa where it is not uncommon to encounter a hippo within a town. Surf City Durban has a chic suburb called Umhlanga where we snack the following day before heading for the Drakensberg Mountains.

On the Sani Pass in Lesotho, we find the highest bar in Africa at 2873 meters above sea level. The way there is stony and steep. If you don't want to face this challenge, you can enjoy the ride in an organized tour with a four-wheel ride vehicle. Back in Underberg, we set off the next day for the jewel of the Wildcoast, Port St. Johns.

We leave this authentic piece of Africa at the Umzimvubu River in the footsteps of Nelson Mandela towards Buffalo City. From Port Elizabeth, we travel along the Garden Route to Mosselbay, the penultimate overnight stop before we begin our journey via Cape Agulhas to Cape Town.

From Underberg in South Africa, we move over the 3rd steepest mountain road in the world to Lesotho. No problem: If you don't ride up yourself you will be transported. Have you ever had a drink in the highest pub in Africa?

Kingdom of eSwatini

Old traditions and customs are still part of daily life. You can feel a touch of it when passing through the Drakensberg. Piggs Peak! What a name! We visit the village and the Maguga Dam.
