Tizi n'Test Pass
You cross the High Atlas and conquer the Tizi n'Test Pass at 2,093 metres, with sweeping views over the mountains, before the route continues towards the coast and further south into the Sahara.

In Senegal you reach St. Louis with its French colonial flair and spend the night at the well-known Zebra Bar, right in the historic centre by the Senegal River, close to the Atlantic coast.
Capital city Dakar
On a rest day in Dakar you visit, among other things, one of the largest mosques in West Africa and recharge for the coming stages towards the south and the border with Guinea and beyond.
Guinea to Ivory Coast
Over rough tracks and through traditional villages, the route runs through Guinea to Kankan and on to the Ivory Coast border, one of the most demanding sections of the whole route.
