Namibia lies in the southern hemisphere: the dry season from April to October brings cooler temperatures, clear visibility and firm gravel tracks – ideal for gravel and enduro touring. The short rainy season from January to March makes many tracks impassable and the heat in the Kalahari and Namib hard to bear.
