To get in the mood – the video:

Dakar legend Jordi Arcarons in person will guide the participants of the tour on three days over the dunes and into the mountains of the Moroccan Sahara. For the launch of the new MOTOURISMO offer in cooperation with the Spanish motorcycle tour operator "Billy Goat Garage", participants will also receive a high-quality cross helmet as a gift by booking through MOTOURISMO.

The package also includes ferry crossings, a German-speaking travel companion and luggage transport. The transfer stages in Morocco from Melilla to Erfoud and back can be done either with your own motorcycle or on a Triumph Tiger 1200 XCx offered for rent. With a riding distance of 600 kilometres on each day, there is no need to stroll on these two road stages. On the three off-road days with Jordi Arcarons, comfortable overnight stays in 4-star hotels are included.

In Erfoud Jordi Arcarons will await the participants with light Yamaha WR450 Enduros and will guide them on different routes over the dunes and into the mountains of the Moroccan Sahara. The offroad stations on the programme include the oasis in Tisserdmine, the Merzouga village market and the Erg Chebbi dune field.

Riders can look forward to being introduced to the exclusive secrets of a proven offroad expert and, of course, to first-hand experience of legendary Dakar stories. Jordi Arcarons works alongside the former and active Dakar pilots Gerard Farrés, Miguel Puertas and Mark Solà as a trainer and guide for the Spanish organizer and now for the first time will guide guests in the context of a longer tour through his natural territory, the African sand and gravel.

During his 16 participations in the Dakar Rally between 1988 and 2011, the 56-year-old was on the podium six times and, with a total of 27 stage victories in his career, finished third behind the French Stéphane Peterhansel and Cyril Despres. Today he is the sports manager for Yamaha's Dakar factory team.

For the introduction of the new tour offer with Jordi Arcarons, participants will receive the cross helmet Scorpion VX-21 AIR as a gift by booking via MOTOURISMO.

Explore the Sahara on this seven-day journey in the Merzouga Desert and let Dakar legend Jordi Arcarons prepare you for riding over dunes and on gravel. You'll soon feel like a pro.
