Because, let's be honest, how many passes are normally used during a week of motorcycle holidays? It might be quite a lot, but we want to ride more than 50 (in words: fifty) alpine passes in just seven pure riding days!

This tour goes across the Alps, starting in Bad Reichenhall and ending in Lyon/France.

To list all the passes here would go beyond the scope of this site, but of course there are such famous pass roads as the Col de la Bonette, the Stelvio Pass and the Grossglockner High Alpine Road. In total we ride 42 of the 50 most beautiful alpine passes (according to MOTORRAD readers' choice) and among them are of course the 10 highest! On the tour we cross Alpine passes in Austria, Italy, Switzerland and France.

So that you can enjoy this special motorbike tour in a relaxed way, we take care of all the 'stuff': Eight overnight stays with half board, luggage transport to the individual hotels and our well-known beverage service on the way. All you have to do is ride...

But don't wait too long with the booking, because we have limited this motorcycle tour to a maximum of 21 motorcycles in three groups.

Day 1 Arrival in Lyon.

At 7.00 am departure from the rest stop Geismühle West (A57) to our intermediate hotel in Lyon.

We make a stop every 220 km, where you can join the group.

Of course you can also travel individually to Lyon.

Day 2 Through Vercors and over the Mont Ventoux.

This stage leads us from Lyon first through Vercors, where we cross the Cirque de Combe Laval and the Col de la Bataille, among others. Overnight stay at the ***-Hotel le Sud in Manosque.

Day 3 Through the Verdon Gorge to the Route des Grandes Alpes.

The highlights of today's stage are the famous Grand Canyon du Verdon and the highest pass in the Alps, the Col de la Bonette ... with seven more passes in between! Overnight stay in the ***-Hotel La Lauzetane in Le Lauzet-Ubaye.

Day 4 Head north along the Route des Grandes Alpes.

With the Col du Galibier, one of the ten highest Alpine passes is again on today's agenda ...along with nine other great pass roads, six of which are part of the Route des Grandes Alpes. Overnight stay in the ***-Hotel Le 4C.

Day 5 Through the Swiss Alps to Piotta.

Today's stage takes us through Switzerland to Piotta, including of course the St. Gotthard Pass! Overnight stay at the Hotel Gottardo Sud in Piotta.

As we don't use a motorway in Switzerland of course, no vignette is needed!

Day 6 Over the San Bernardino to Bormio.

The Passo del San Bernardino is just one of the eight great passes over which our stage today leads from Piotta to Bormio. On the way there, we will of course make a duty-free refueling stop in Livigno. Overnight stay in the ***-Hotel Vallechiara in Bormio.

Day 7 Via Stelvio and the Sella circuit to Cortina d'Ampezzo.

The ascent to the first pass of today's stage, the notorious Stelvio Pass, begins practically in front of the hotel. Another highlight of this stage is the so-called 'Sella Circuit' over the four passes Pordoijoch, Campolongo Saddle, Gardena Pass and Sella Pass. Overnight stay in the ****-Hotel Ancora near Cortina d'Ampezzo.

Day 8 Via the Grossglockner High Alpine Road.

Today, along with seven other passes, one of the highlights of the tour is on the stage plan, the Grossglockner High Alpine Road. But also the

smaller passes in Friuli are worth seeing and offer a lot of fun! Overnight stay in the ****-Gallery Hotel in Bad Reichenhall.

Day 9 Journey home.

Joint or individual return journey to Krefeld or home.
