It is the island of windmills and fincas, there are many churches and monasteries, and artists exhibit their works everywhere. The many forests consist of Aleppo pines and holm oaks. All around the island there are beautiful bays for swimming and in the north-east, almost alpine mountain ranges invite motorcyclists to take curves.

Of course we will make beautiful and impressive day tours in Mallorca. But we have also come up with something special for the outward and return journey: In France we ride through the Massif Central, the Tarn Gorge and along the Ardèche.

Unlike other operators, we use night ferries for the crossings from Barcelona to Palma and from Palma to Barcelona. They may be more expensive, but you will gain two additional "holiday travel days".

Tour itinerary:

Day 1: Arrival in Lyon.

Departure at 7.00 a.m. at the Geismühle West (A57) rest stop in southern direction via Luxembourg, Metz, Nancy, Dijon and Beaune to our intermediate hotel near Lyon.

Alternatively you can join the group on the way or travel to Lyon on your own.

Day 2: Through Massif Central and Tarn Gorge to Millau.

Day trip along the Massif Central, the Loire and via Le Puy through the Tarn Gorge to our hotel in Millau.

Day 3: Via Carcassonne to Barcelona to the ferry.

Passing under the Millau Viaduct, one of the highest bridges in Europe, our day tour first takes us to the Cite de Carcassonne, a medieval fortress that is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. After the sightseeing we continue to Barcelona, where we still have some time to explore the city, before we take our cabins on the ferry to Mallorca at around 23.00 hrs.

Day 4: Across Mallorca to the base hotel.

After the crossing and the arrival in Palma we will start our first tour on site. From the harbour we ride to Port Andratx, where everyone who likes can have a second breakfast. We continue via Cala Bonyalbufor and Valldemossa through the interior of the country to our hotel in Cala Ratjada.

Day 5: Cap Formentor and Santuari de Lluc monastery.

After breakfast together, our first stage leads us across the bay of D'Alcudia to Cap Formentor with its breathtaking views. We continue to the monastery Santuari de Lluc and then via Inca back to the base hotel.

Day 6: Sa Pobla, Port de Sóller and Deià

Today we ride via Sa Pobla to the north-east coast of the island. Through the old town of Port de Sóller we go to Sa Calobra and from there to Deià. Then we ride through the interior of the country back to the base hotel.

Day 7: Day of rest.

Rest day at leisure; perhaps enjoy the beach, or a tour on your own.

Day 8: Via Santuari de Sant Salvador and El Arenal to the ferry.

On the way to Palma, from where the night ferry brings us to Barcelona, we visit the Santuari de Sant Salvador and enjoy a cup of coffee at the beach of El Arenal.

Day 9: From Barcelona via the Cevennes to Millau.

From Barcelona, we first ride to Perpignan on the motorway and from there along winding side roads through the southern Cevennes to our intermediate hotel in Millau.

Day 10: Through the Ardèche Gorge back to Lyon.

Today's tour leads us first through the Gorges de la Jonte and the Cevennes National Park to the fantastic Ardeché Gorge. From there we ride the last 160 km on the motorway to our intermediate hotel near Lyon.

Day 11: Return journey.

Return journey Lyon - Krefeld.

Of course you can also depart individually.
