The motorcycle tour through wild Scandinavia - surrounded by untamed nature, Southern Norway offers the basic ingredients for one of the most beautiful motorcycle tours. Norway's coast and the famous fjords are unrivalled in beauty.
Enjoy the uniqueness of this country with all your senses on this tour. Our trip starts in the north of Germany, near Flensburg. The journey takes us through Denmark to our ferry port in Hirtshals.
From here we reach our destination - Norway - in a short time. Highlights like the Lysefjord and Prekestolen, followed by the Sognefjord, but also hairpin turns par excellence and many other highlights will captivate you on this extraordinary motorcycle tour.
Of course, the sensational view from the skywalk on the Aurlandsfjord or on the Preikestolen, to name just a few, should not be missed. These sounding names are guarantors for unsurpassable photo motifs.
Our motorcycle tour takes us off the beaten tourist track into the heart of Norway's untouched nature. As a special highlight we offer the possibility to enjoy our lunch breaks in this unique landscape.
Our roadbook lets us cruise along the fjords, passing the rough but beautiful landscape, crossing inlets over bridges or with ferries. Nice middle class hotels along the whole route complete this extraordinary motorcycle tour.
In order to allow you a relaxed journey, our escort vehicle will take care of the transport of your luggage. Upon arrival at the hotel you will find your luggage in your room.
After we have "experienced" this country in the truest sense of the word, we will leave Norway by ferry from Bergen and enjoy the ferry crossing to Hirtshals.
Enjoy this breathtaking motorcycle tour from its best side - from the back of a motorcycle.

Flensburg to Kristiansand (Norway)
After breakfast we set off on our Scandinavian adventure, mainly using the Danish motorway to Hirtshals.
"Check in" in Hirtshals for the ferry to Kristiansand is in the late afternoon. During the ferry crossing, which takes about two hours, we enjoy the view of the North Sea from the upper deck... and then it is in front of us, the land of fjords and midnight sun. After docking we reach our hotel after a few kilometres.
Overnight stay: Kristiansand
Daily distance: approx. 390 km
Krisitansand - Sandnes
Fantastic landscapes and biker routes in almost untouched nature lie ahead of us. We fortify ourselves at the breakfast buffet, then we head west, mostly on the "old" but scenic North Sea Road, which leads us to our destination for the day, Sandnes. Before we get there, the perfect panoramic view of the South Cape of Norway awaits us. We have arrived at the southernmost point of the country. From here it is 2518 km to the other end of Norway, the North Cape. The "3 swords in the rock" in Stavanger, which commemorate the battle at the Hafrsfjord in 872, form an impressive photo motif before we arrive at our hotel.
Overnight stay: Sandnes
Daily distance: approx. 295 km
Sandnes - Ullensvang
Today starts with a cruise feeling. After loading the luggage in the escort vehicle, it is time to "cast off" and take the ferry to the fjord cruise in the Lysefjord. "Best of Norway" one could call the dreamlike fjord landscape. The Kanzelfelsen, as the Preikestolen is also called, and the majesty on the Lysefjord, the Kjerag - with 1084 meters the highest peak on the fjord's shore framed, pass us by. Around noon we moor at Lysebotn. And on we go on two wheels - an adventurous serpentine road leads us to the high plateau and further inland. Before we reach our day's destination near Ullensvang, the twin waterfall Lattefossen with a total drop of 165 m awaits us for a souvenir photo.
Overnight stay: Ullensvang
Daily distance: approx. 220 km
Ullensvang - Sogndal
In the middle of the nature paradise our roadbook leads us to the western part of Norway to Stalheim. Here a ridding treat is waiting for us. The steep road up to Stalheimskleiva, with its 13 famous hairpin bends, offers riding fun par excellence. This highlight is followed by a detour to Norway's most famous railway, the Flambahn. The station provides a fitting backdrop for a coffee break. Strengthened we go to the Skywalk at the Aurlandsfjord, the 30 m long springboard-like viewing platform with integrated glass floor gives us unforgettable views. In the further course of the route, the longest road tunnel, the Laertaltunnel, lies ahead of us with almost 25 km. We prefer the road course over its mountains and enjoy the journey on the "old" panorama road.
Overnight stay: Sogndal
Daily mileage: approx. 290
Sogndal - Loen
We ride along the Sognefjord, the longest and deepest fjord in Europe. It branches out into many small side arms and offers pure nature. And again a "main means of transport of Norway" is waiting for us, the fjord ferry. After the "crossing" we reach the historical Balestrand. Here, history was written to touch, already Kaiser Wilhelm was enthroned in his time in the world-famous Kviknes Hotel, one of the most famous photo motives of the city. A souvenir photo with a magnificent view of the hotel must not be missed before we continue our journey.
After the historical review we cruise through untouched nature. Passing the Kjenndal Kova glacier tongue we approach our stage destination near Olden on fascinating side roads.
Overnight stay: Near Olden
Daily distance: approx. 290 km
Loen - Alesund
Today Norway is a must, with the old Styrnefjel way, a landscape route with overwhelming beauty, we start into the day. Followed by the Dalsnibba, which guarantees us breathtaking panoramic views. With unique pictures in our luggage, we ride through Geiranger and on to Trollstigen - a stretch of road that will remain in our memories for a long time.
After an eventful day we arrive in Alesund. In 1904, the wooden houses of the city burned down almost completely. After this event, the mayor ordered that from now on, only stone houses have to be built. Thus, the city presents itself in a beautiful art nouveau style until today - of course, we are in the middle of it with our hotel.
Overnight stay: Alesund
Daily distance: approx. 280 km
Alesund - Nordfjordeid
The highlight of the day is undoubtedly a visit to Norway's legendary Vestkapp. The outer rock at 497 metres called "Kjerringea" offers us a magnificent view.
The day is marked with beautiful fjord roads and idyllic nature, which provide us with photo motifs every "second".

After breakfast, just under 2 hours' ride to Bergen. Via beautiful back roads we arrive at our hotel in the heart of this historic city around noon. The travellers from the big cruise ships slowly clear the town in the afternoon and return to the luxury liners - then the town is ours! Attractions such as the Floyen Railway are a must, taking us to the top of Floyen after a 6-minute ride and rewarding us with fantastic panoramic views of the former Coronation City. The old town Bryggen, with its colourful wooden houses and old landing stages, once the base of the mighty Hanseatic League - but also the traditional fish market is in the immediate vicinity and invites us to explore. In this spirit we let the day end in the old town and enjoy our dinner in a stylish atmosphere. Pure biker feeling...
