Join us on a wonderful tour on the most scenic routes through the coffee region. Find out how coffee is picked by hand and sun-dried as we visit a working coffee farm, ride along beautiful green hillsides with colourful flowers and houses in traditional Colombian style. We stay in top range hotels and enjoy exquisite cuisine.
Cali to Montenegro – We meet at the our facility in Cali at 8:00 AM. After sorting out paperwork and bike hand-over we make our way north through sugar cane plantations in the Cauca Valley. The coffee region is all shades of green and coffee and banana plantations stretch as far as the eye can see. We ride up to Lake Calima on small back roads before making our way to our hotel near Montenegro.
Montenegro to Salento – The day is spend in the wonderful colorful Coffee region. We will visit a real working coffee farm, the spectacular waterfall at Santa Rosa de Cabal and the world’s tallest palm tree in the Cocora Valley. Late afternoon we will arrive in the beautiful village of Salento for a rural experience in the heart of the coffee region.
Salento to Cali – the tiny curvy paved backroads in the coffee region continues as we make our way south to Pijao, Sevilla and other traditional coffee villages. We arrive late afternoon in time to return bikes and for some the chance of a great night out in the year around tropical warm Salsa Capital of the World – Cali.
