DAY 1: Welcome to Cambodia!

You’ll be greeted by your tour leader in the morning at the hotel. He will accompany you to the helipad where you’ll hop into a chopper for a scenic flight above the UNESCO world heritage site of Angkor Wat – away from the hoards of tourists, there is simply no better to view this incredible temple complex.

After this we’ll venture out for a traditional Cambodian lunch before heading back to the hotel for a full briefing of the trip ahead.

In the evening we will all enjoy a welcome dinner at a restaurant on the famous ‘Pub Street’

Accommodation: 5* hotel.

Included meals: Lunch, dinner.

DAY 2: Siem Reap – Battambang | 185km

The first day of riding on this Cambodian motorbike tour and we’ll swiftly leave the city behind, heading west towards the Thai border, stopping along the way at a buddhist pagoda to receive a good luck blessing from a local monk.

We’ll ride a variety of dirt roads, tarmac and winding trails as we ride alongside rivers and through tiny Cambodia villages. We’ll meet with our support vehicle for a western style picnic lunch before cutting the corner of the Tonle Sap lake and continuing to the old French colonial town of Battambang. You may even have the chance to sample some of the local rice paddy rats at one of the roadside BBQs! Mmmmm, rat. Tastes just like chicken of course!

Accommodation: Luxurious resort with a swimming pool and spa.

Included meals: Breakfast, lunch, dinner.

DAY 3: Battambang – Pramaouy | 175km

We’ve got some awesome trail riding today, from fast paced dirt roads, steep rocky hills, river crossings and winding dirt roads that climb up in the Cardamom Mountains providing breathtaking views across the hills.

We stay in the tiny mountain town of Pramaouy. Dinner will be a massive BBQ feast at the guesthouse – but first, why not pop next door for a couple of cold beers and a spot of volleyball with the locals?

Accommodation: Basic guesthouse in a small mountain town.

Included meals: Breakfast, lunch, dinner.

DAY 4: Pramaouy – Tatai River | 175km

The day kicks off with a stunning dirt road that winds up and down through the hills and a water crossing on tiny wooden rafts. Then into the jungle along the ‘Tiger Trail’! Tight singletrack, creek crossings, rocky hills and possibly fallen trees to duck under / carry over. Our support vehicle will be waiting at the end of the trail with some much needed refreshments!

After lunch we will pay a quick visit to a waterfall before cruising down and out of the mountains on a mix of exhilarating dirt and concrete roads.

Tonight’s destination is a floating resort on Tatai River – this place is just stunning and you won’t be disappointed that we’re staying here for two nights!

Accommodation: Floating river resort.

Included meals: Breakfast, lunch, dinner.

DAY 5: Tatai River Rest Day

A non-riding day gives you the chance to relax before the next half of the trip. Choose to swim in the river, relax at the lodge, or take the kayaks for a paddle down river.

Accommodation: Floating river resort.

Included meals: Breakfast.

DAY 6: Tatai River – Chiphat | 120km

Today we will tackle the old ‘Smuggler’s Trail’. Steep and technical rocky hills, lots of quirky bridges, river crossings and some really fun single track trails. A tough but awesome day’s ride that lands us in the beautiful riverside eco-village of Chiphat. Late afternoon we will take cold beers down to a nearby waterfall for a swim.

Accommodation: Traditional thatched bungalows on stilts.

Included meals: Breakfast, lunch, dinner.

DAY 7: Chiphat – Kirirom | 140km

A terrific mix of terrain today: there’s some fast paced jungle riding, stretches of sand, rocky sections and plenty of river crossings. A technical and varied days riding that lands us in the pine forests of Kirirom National Park.

We’ll be camping tonight, in what is probably the most beautiful camping spot you’ll ever see. Perched on the edge of a cliff, surrounded by pine forest at the top and overlooking the jungle at the bottom. We’ll send a team ahead to set up the camp and have a fire and feast waiting for us! Tonight will be a good night.

Accommodation: Clifftop camping. We provide everyone with their own tent, air mattress, blanket, pillow and we bring our own shower and toilet.

Included meals: Breakfast, lunch, dinner.

DAY 8: Kirirom – Phnom Penh | 230km

It’s the final riding day of this off-road motorcycle tour of Cambodia and you get straight onto the trails that wind through the pine forests – this is enduro riding heaven and you’ll be sad the riding is now coming to an end!

Finish with celebratory beers back at base before hopping in tuk tuks that will take you over to an excellent hotel that has the best rooftop swimming pool in the city!

In the evening we’ll board a private boat for a sunset cruise along the Mekong River, with stunning views of the city and the Royal Palace.

We’ll then enjoy a farewell dinner at an excellent riverside restaurant. For those who want to keep the party going, Phnom Penh won’t disappoint!

Accommodation: 4* hotel with a rooftop pool.

Included meals: Breakfast, lunch, dinner.

DAY 9: Departure

Before leaving Cambodia we would strongly recommend a visit to some of the sights around the capital city. The Killing Fields and the S21 Genocide Museum – while by no means fun – are incredibly interesting and eye opening… after witnessing the ‘real Cambodia’ as you’ll have done for the past 10 days, visiting these sights will really amaze you.

Cambodia and it’s people are simply incredible, and now you’ll fully understand why!

Accommodation: Not included.

Included meals: Breakfast only.
