Description
Our tour center is located a little off the main motorcycle routes, on the border with South Tyrol, in the province of Belluno, namely in Rocca Pietore (Hotel La Montanara), southwest of Cortina d`Ampezzo, at the foot of the Marmolada group. From here we start our four day-tours in the magnificent mountain region of the Dolomites. We have deliberately chosen some unknown passes. Of course, a tour to the big Sella circuit should not be missing. Another day tour takes us to the somewhat less known Friuli, where some beautiful, winding pass roads are also waiting for us. In our base hotel we will end the evening with a multi-course dinner and a drop of wine.
Day 1: Arrival of the participants
Individual arrival of the participants to our starting hotel in the beautiful Salzburger Land near the Bavarian border.
Check in until 18:00; then tour presentation and getting to know each other over a cosy dinner.
Day 2: Journey to our base hotel
From our meeting point we ride over the Felbertauern, East Tyrol to the border crossing Silian to South Tyrol. We continue via Dobiacco - Cortina d. Ampezzo - Passo di Giau - to our base hotel.
Day 3: Tour of the unknown passes
To get used to the tour, today we will take a shorter tour over - for most of you - unknown passes such as: Passo di Valles - Passo di Rolle - Passo di Cereda - Forcella Aurine - Passo Duran - Passo di Giau - back to our tour centre.
Day 4: Passo di Carrara - Val Gardena - Sella circuit
Day tour via Passo San Pelegrino - Karrerpass - Tierser Tal - Kastelruth - Grödner Tal - Seller Joch - Passo Pordoi - Corvara - Passo di Valparolo - Falzerego - back to our base hotel.
Day 5: Friuli - Monti di Rest
Day tour via Cortina d`Ampezzo - Auronzo - into the province of Friuli. Over the Monti di Rest - past the Lago di Tramonti - Lago di Barcis - Passo di San Oswaldo - Forno - Agordo - back to Selva.
Day 6: Excursion to Trentino:
Day trip into Trentino via Passo di Brocon - Val Donega - Val di Calamento - Passo di Manghen - Cavalese - Val di Fieme - back to our base hotel.
Day 7: Return journey to our starting hotel
Today we return to our start hotel in Bavaria or individual journey home. Via Silian - Lienz - Großglockner Hochalpenstrasse - Zell am See - Lofer - Bad Reichenhall - back to our start hotel.
Day 8: Individual journey home
After breakfast individual journey home of the participants.
