Description
As close as the two mountain ranges are, their characters are different, separated by the Rhine: France on one side, Germany on the other. But both have one thing in common: curves, curves and more curves. A pleasure is also the multi-course menu in the evening and the good Baden wine, with which we can end each tour day relaxed.
Tour itinerary:
Day 1: Arrival
Individual arrival of the participants to our tour center south of Freiburg. Check-in until 18:00
During a cosy dinner - tour introduction and getting to know the participants.
Day 2: Southern Black Forest, approx. 210 km
Via the Schauinsland road we ride via Kirchzarten to Titisee. Along small rivers and brooks we see the Wehratal and the small Wiesental.
Day 3: Northern Alsace, approx. 250 km
At Sasbach we cross the Rhine and the border to France. Passing Colmar we approach the Trois Epis and on the Route de Freland we come to Saint-Croix-aux-Mines. The Route de Kreuzweg brings us to Le Hohwald and Kintzheim. Of course we will also see the Haut Koenigsburg before heading back around the Kaiserstuhl.
Day 4: Tour, approx. 280 km
Today's tour is the longest of the week and leads over the Feldberg to the Schluchsee. Through the Steinatal we ride to Neuhausen to the Rhine Falls, Waldshut-Tiengen and the small Wiesental are further stops on the way to the base hotel.
Day 5: Southern Alsace, approx. 220 km
This time we pass the border at Breisach and via the Route de Cretes we arrive at the Lac de Kruth. We will pass the Col de la Schlucht and Lac Blanc before reaching the cheese town of Munster. On our way home we will pass some picturesque places like Wintzenheim.
Day 6: Northern Black Forest, approx. 240 km
We pass Freiburg and arrive at Gutach via the panorama road. Lovely valleys like Elz- and Kinzigtal we will pass through and also the small town Hornberg (the famous shooting) is on the way. Along the Schonach we reach Kirchzarten and over the Schauinsland we come back to the starting point.
Day 7: Journey home
After breakfast individual journey home for the participants
