Description
This pleasure tour excites all of your senses.
You still feel the coolness of the morning air on your skin, which will soon give way to an inner warmth and a good feeling. The feeling of conquering magnificent landscapes with your bike. The Ettaler Berg with its well-developed curves and hairpin bends is a good start. Shortly thereafter you turn into a truly royal area. Along the Linder, past Linderhof Castle, the royal villa of Bavarian King Ludwig II, you cross the German-Austrian border at the Ammer Saddle (Bunting saddle). Then suddenly, in front of you, lying a picturesque Plansee takes you immediately in its spell. The winding road runs directly along the shore, and its picture-postcard idyll will make you grin broadly under your helmet. Happy and satisfied, you take the border crossing at Füssen back to Germany in the beautiful Allgäu. Via the winding back roads and hilly, dreamlike landscapes you experience this enchanting region. The lunch break, in an old mill, provides the next pleasures. Not only culinary.
Well strengthened, the tour continues.
The second part of the tour continues in a winding way and leads you over a historic mountain race track to the 1055m high Auerberg. From there you have a truly unique view over the Forggensee and the Alps in front of you. You can even make out the fairytale castle of Neuschwanstein. Continue over the Trauchgau and past the beautiful Forggensee. A few wonderful kilometers later, you will have time over coffee and cake to check your senses to see if they have all been satisfied.
Around 17:00 o'clock at the hotel, you can still listen to the crackling of your cooling bike.
