DAY 1

Where: Medellin - Manizales
Riding hours: 6

- Twisty, mountain roads up out of Medellin.
- Traditional Colombian barbecue lunch.
- Ride through the Santa Barbara, Pintada, and Caldas Region.
- Sleepover & dinner at Paraiso Verde Lodge.

Where: Manizales - Salento
Riding hours: 4
Highlights Include:
- Breakfast at our farm stay above the valley.
- Winding, paved mountain roads to Salento.
- Tour and tastings at a local coffee farm.
- Try your hand at Tejo, a Colombian game of explosive darts.
- Sleepover at a cozy, local hostel.

Where: Salento - Quimbaya

- Breakfast in the picturesque Salento plaza.
- Optional 3-hour hike to Colombia’s world heritage “Valle Del Cocora”.

- Visit the Colina Iluminada lookout.
- Sleepover at Tucawa Eco Hostel.

- More gravel road switchbacks up the mountains.
- A visit to the famous coffee theme park.
- Beautiful rolling hillsides of Quindio.

Where: Montenegro - Jardin
Riding hours: 6

- Early breakfast and blast down the highway.
- Twisting along mountain ridges to Rio Sucio.
- Well-earned late lunch in Rio Sucio.
- Breathtaking scenery riding the colonial trails into Jardín.
- Spend the night at the beautifully restored Hotel la Casona.
