Which of the motorcyclists has not dreamed of touring across Italy? From South Tyrol over the Apennines to the south of Italy. Back via Sicily, ferry crossing to Genoa and Tuscany - back to South Tyrol. We have also dreamed of this, and this year the dream has come true. A combination of breathtaking motorcycle routes awaits us. We cross scenic highlights such as the Emilia Romana, the Abruzzo, the plateau of Monte Sibilini in Umbria, the Grand Sasso National Park, and the Amalfi Coast near Sorento, on the night ferry that takes us to Sicily, here, of course, the "Etna" may not be missing. After exploring Sicily for 3 days, we go from Palermo to Genoa by the night ferry again. At the end of the tour, Lombardy awaits us before we return to our hotel in Sterzing. Biker heart, what more do you want?!

Day 1: Arrival at our starting hotel near Sterzing.

Day 2: Sterzing to Maranello approx. 430 km
From South Tyrol - Bolzano along the west coast of Lake Garda we reach the Po Valley. We will cross this on the freeway. Our hotel is located in the Maranello area, here is the heart of the Italian automobile fans - Ferrari.

Day 3: Maranello to Lago di Bolsena: approx. 440 km
Today begins the pure fun of curves. Always along the Appenin towards the south, we ride into Tuscany. Past Florence, we head to the Lago di Bolsena - where we will spend the night.

Day 4: Bolsena to Carscia Umbria: approx: 370 km
This tour leads us today from Bolsena to Asissi from there we tour into the Monte Sibilin National Park, passes up to 2,000m await us. Overnight stay in the Cascia area

Day 5: Cascia to Cassino: About: 370 km
Today the national parks of Abruzzo await us. Via the Gran Sasso National Park past L`Aquilla, we cross the Povinz Abruzzo and reach our hotel in the Cassino area.

Day 6: Cassino to Sorrento on the Gulf of Naples: about 300 km
Through the foothills of the Apennines past Naples and reach in the early afternoon the Gulf of Naples near Sorrento.

Day 7: Rest day
Today should bring about relaxation or rest to strengthen us for the second half of the tour. For frequent travelers there is also the possibility of a short tour along the Amalfi Coast. Or to explore the Amalfi Coast by boat.

Day 8: Pompeii - ferry passage to Sicily: about 100 km
In the morning there is the possibility to visit the excavations of Pompeii. Afterwards ascent to Vesuvius with breathtaking panorama over the Gulf of Naples. In the evening embarkation for the ferry passage to Sicily. Overnight stay in 2-bed cabins on the ferry.

Day 9: Palermo to the south of Sicily: approx. 220 km

Day 10: Agrigento - to the Catania area: about 220 km
On today's tour, we now explore the south and west of Sicily and spend the night in the Catania area.

Day 11: Volcano "Etna" - day tour
Today we will have a day tour through the "Parco del Etna".
Etna is the highest and most active volcano in Europe. Our way leads us on winding mountain roads around the national park. Of course, we will ride as close as possible to Etna itself, and the probability is high that we will be able to feel the rumbling in the mountain at one or the other stop. We will spend the night again in the Catania area.

Day 12: Catania - Palermo - ferry passage to Genoa:
Today is already again the last stage in Sicily. Through the inland, the tour leads us again to the north coast in the area of Cefalu. In the afternoon we continue along the north coast to Palermo, embarkation for the ferry to Genoa.

Day 13: Day at sea
Our ferry will arrive in Genoa at about 19:30.
After disembarkation, we will spend the night in a hotel in the Genoa area.

Day 14: Genoa - Lake Iseo
North of Genoa we will cross the western Apennines and the Po Valley - which we will cross again on the highway - passing Milan and Bergamo we will reach the southern foothills of the Italian Alps. We will spend the night in the area of Lake Iseo.

Day 15: Lake Iseo - to Sterzing
Our last day tour together leads us again over beautiful alpine passes back to Sterzing to our starting point.

After breakfast together we say goodbye.
On our individual journey home we will be accompanied by the impressions of an unforgettable adventure tour through Italy.
